presentation of the VT 750 SHADOW 2005

the 750 Shadow returns after a 2-year absence. It boasts a new look inspired by recent VTX models, a revised engine for more torque, a lower seat height, greater rigidity and a cardan shaft. Greater comfort seems to have been highlighted in red in the specifications. On the security front, the Shadow is equipped with a coded key lock - a security feature that seems to be gaining ground on the market.

French Model 2005
It had been my dream for a long time. I'd been riding a shadow 125 for 15 years, and at the age of 64 I got my A2 license to ride the 750. This iron horse is GREAT. Good power for overtaking, super comfortable, lots of torque, a hell of a lock. Top of the line for an old biker like me. What's more, the cardan shaft means no chain maintenance. The only hitch is that, as I've always "polished" it a bit, it rubs in the corners lol, but I really love my 2095 Shadow 750VT Rating : 5/5
French Fredo Model 2006
A big cruiser that's affordable for A2s, with plenty of torque and good acceleration even at low revs. Excellent roadholding (without leaning too much, otherwise it rubs quickly). 55,000 km on my granny and she purrs perfectly. One small drawback for my use: the front wheel splashes. I ride on greasy, dirty roads, and I get a real kick out of it(...), and the radiator doesn't like it either. The Shadow 125 didn't have this problem. Otherwise, the cockpit is very uncluttered, which I like, but this minimalism may put some people off. It's a big machine that's easy to maintain, and for me, who maintains my bikes myself, it's a pleasure. Fuel consumption: 5.7L That gives me 230km of range without attacking the reserve. The best thing to remember for my taste: the cardan shaft! It's clean, reliable and easy to maintain. Happy riding! Rating : 5/5
French Michel Model 2004
Vt 750 from 2004, since I got my license at 57, nothing but happiness... Stability, comfort, flexibility in town. At over 70, I've just invested in a cylinder guard (240 kgs to hold at a standstill) to reassure myself, and I hope to enjoy it for a long time to come, as it only has 48,000 kms. Happy trails, quiet bikers. Rating : 4/5
French Diego Model 2006
i have a Shadow 750 from 2006, it has 75000 kms and I have never had any problems, puncture-proof engine, very comfortable, doesn't consume a lot of fuel, I bought the same model from the same year which has 13000 kms and I intend to take it up to 150000 kms or even 200000 kms as it will be my last motorbike.... Rating : 5/5
French Nodd Model 2004
A 2004 model, bought second-hand at 33,000 km, already 2000km done, excellent bike!
Very good handling in town, engine with very good performance (one of the best customs with an A2 license).
Even loaded with a passenger and 20-30 kilos of luggage, you can do a good 150km/h (I didn't try any harder), so no problem overtaking on the freeway!
On the other hand, you'll need to adjust the suspensions: hardness on 5 to carry weight is fine, but if you're alone on 5, you can't take a speed bump, so at least go down to 2-3 ^^

Hello

I'm thinking of buying a 2005 750 shadow with 15000km
I have no idea of the prices and don't want to be cheated
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me

A very good bike, of course, but it's not a sportsbike, so accelerating to 120 to overtake is a bit tricky
Good handling, though. The cardan shaft transmission makes me forget about the mechanics
I love it, the only small negative point being my knees. I'm not very short, so the handlebars touch them when I take a sharp bend at low speed.

slt to all i've had a vt750 since december 1998 and i can tell you that today it totals 258000 kms si! si! you read it right 258000kms and I didn't do anything on the moulbif, motard of every day and every season since 1982 I had the honda cxc 500, the honda cbc650, the honda cbc750 and finally the 750 shadow all gave me pleasure but the shadow of 1998 model ace with transmissions by chain I will say only one thing NUMBER ONE,only important weakness of this bike:the rear brake with drum.sur ce bonne route à tous et à + Rating : 5/5

With the VT750C you (re)discover the pleasure of motorcycling, mine has 2000 km on the clock, very good engine torque Rating : 5/5
French Rick Model 2004
I've owned a 2004 Shadow Aero since mid-August... and I love it. It turns heads. It looks like an 1100! Strengths: Great looks, maneuverability, ultra-low seat position, cardan shaft, engine with enough torque. Weaknesses: we'd like a little more power over 100km/h. All in all, an excellent bike for the inexperienced or for a return to motorcycling after many years. Richard, Boucherville, Quebec Rating : 5/5
French Guismo Model 2004
mine has 5300Km, the only complaint is that the saddle is a bit hard. I had a Dragstar 650 which was more comfortable Rating : 5/5
French droopybel Model 2004
Hi, My VT750C4 has been on the road for 8,000km since March 2004 and is still going strong, what a pleasure even in daily use. 20 hp more would be welcome for overtaking at 110 km/h. Otherwise, my tiag's heels are worn ;-)and it's costing me :-)))
V to all.

I've had one for 6 months and I'm completely satisfied. Small drawback: you tend to get shaken up over bumps (lower the shocks a notch) Rating : 5/5
