presentation of the 1200 FTR x 100% R Carbon 2024
An all-carbon motorcycle from Indian? Que Nenni! Ducati's Panigale Superleggera 1299 and V4 and BMW's HP4 Race are exceptions, but they don't apply to this American roadster. Things are different for this FTR. It's not full carbon, although it does feature a number of parts made from this material, but it has joined forces with 100% (hence the name) - an American company specializing in cross-country equipment.
This partnership has a strong influence on the 1200 FTR's design. It features the 100% logo on its tank, as well as its color theme, with deep blue as the dominant color and touches of red to liven things up. To make it even brighter, the American had the good idea of painting its tubular frame white.
What carbon parts do we have? In "Blue Candy" carbon please, as the material is tinted here. Well, the tank, front mudguard, seat cover and headlamp nacelle. A successful and invigorating addition. More traditional black carbon has been chosen for the muffler, the exhaust heat shield and the side plates in the center of the V-engine.
The noble features of the FTR Carbon are repeated here, with Öhlins elements adjustable in all directions, a double Akrapovic titanium silencer and Brembo M4.32 brakes. This reminds us a little of the old Monster S4Rs. Arriving here, most have received a black treatment, which takes with it the 43mm inverted fork, side shock spring, exhausts, rear frame and wheels. The gold finish of the Swedish tubes and tank stand out even more. This Indian is a festival of colors.
The bike also gains an engine cover, a seat with red stitching surrounded by a carbon gangue and Gilles Tooling parts: handlebar ends, oil and radiator caps. Plus a little bonus: every purchaser of an FTR x 100% R Carbon will receive a pair of sunglasses from the new Indian Motorcycles x 100% collection.

This special, limited edition will cost 2,000 euros more than the FTR Carbon it replaces, and 400 units will be available. The serial number will be engraved on the center console. Indian is reserving 150 for the North American market, leaving 250 for the remaining 192 countries - although the Polaris parent company is present in over 130 countries.
