presentation of the 1250 Super Scout 2025
Here's the 1250 Scout, the most equipped, the most well-traveled, the heaviest... and the most expensive? No, it shares that burden with the 101 - for the same price, you can choose either performance or touring. Two radically different approaches on the same base. At Indian, family spirit goes hand in hand with a fine line-up of characters.
The Super Scout is a veritable cocktail, mixing various accessories and specific features: the spoked wheels and chrome mirrors are from the Classic, the minimalist mudguards and block tires are from the Bobber; it also plays on originality by being the only one to mix black and chrome for its exhaust system. On the bow, a strange extension is grafted on to offset the roadside fittings. And yes, with the luggage kit, it would have been impossible for other road users to see the turn signals if the Super had retained the Bobber's scuffed rear end. And worse, it was either the left saddlebag or the license plate. In short, we had to be clever, and it must be pretty deg....asse once the panniers were removed.
In fact, it's easy to see that the Super Scout has a pair of cargo compartments on its hips. Their capacity will be limited, just enough to carry the contents of an evening. And that's what soft touring is all about: there's no question of competing with a Roadmaster. The cases have a hard-molded structure to retain their shape despite the hostilities outside.
The Scout is equipped with a 35 cm windshield, which can be removed in seconds. It's also the only one in the family to appreciate the presence of a passenger, with an appropriate seat and footrests.
The Scout is now ready for a weekend away. It comes with the "Limited +Tech" finish as standard. This includes three riding modes (Sport - Standard - Touring) to adjust throttle response, traction control, cruise control, USB port, keyless ignition, and a 4-inch color TFT screen with Ride Command system, multiple displays, GPS navigator and smartphone control.
The Scout enters its second generation of the modern era, with a profound structural overhaul. The frame is no longer that aluminum framework, but a more classic tubular steel element. Inside, the engine has a new look: 117 cm3 more thanks to a larger bore, larger throttle bodies, a revised gearbox, a chubbier appearance, and a significant gain in power. Torque is up by more than 1 mkg, with a maximum of 11 mkg, while 105 hp gallop along with the twin - now called SpeedPlus.

The 1250 Super Scout of 2025 takes up the same idea, in a much more euphoric period.
