presentation of the 750 ZX-7 R 2003

The ZX-7R is a legend, a machine crowned with Endurance victories, the pride of Kawa in all its splendor. The RR version is the Kawasaki rider's fantasy. While the machine is beginning to show its age, especially on the scales, its qualities are immortal. Stability, rigidity and precision are of the highest order on the 7 R. Relatively slow to change angles, its neutrality and excellent suspension partly compensate for this heaviness. The boiler offers plenty of power for both sport and touring use. Torquey, furious and expressive, the mill enchants as long as it's not bridled. The gearbox is perfect, the braking even better: it combines boundless power, ideal feel and unlimited resistance to overheating. The excellent suspension work makes it easy to control the machine under hard braking. Today, this worthy representative of the premier class has to contend with particularly sharp 600s, super-powerful and super-light 1000s, and a diabolical 750 GSX-R that brilliantly combines the two.

Masterpiece
French Gabriel Model 2002
For the misfortune of purists, I have a red zx7r with 60000km and it's still in collector condition, maintenance is cheap, it's a jap so parts are adaptable, every time I go out of a bend it gives me goose bumps, the throttle, worthy of the carburetors of the time, barely touches it before it fires, and even when the throttle is released, it still burns. If you have the opportunity, get one in very good condition, but remember to have a second bike alongside, as it's complicated on a daily basis depending on where you live Rating : 5/5
Superbike
French Yves Model 2000
1999 model, the most beautiful livery, in kawa green, but above all the only true road superbike, a rigid chassis, a high-performance fork and shock absorber and anthology braking, the black points: the weight and the lack of power, a little 140 HP would have been welcome, you can't hesitate to shake it, set on the corner it's a rail, even if you regain some braking in the bend, it's the only bike with which I could allow myself this fantasy, of all those I've owned, none has given me so much pleasure, like any sports bike, you have to take the time to master it, especially as there are no electronics, a man's bike whatsoever! Rating : 4/5
French court-circuit Model 1996
It's a beauty, with harmonious forms and a feline look. In fact, I've fallen in love with this bike, even though it's not my first: r1, r6, vtr sp1, 1000 rsv, ducati 900ss, suzuki 250 rgv, etc. etc...... I fell in love with it, of course it doesn't have the ABS, traction control or lightness of a modern motorcycle, but maybe that's what pleasure is all about, having sensations, and you're guaranteed to get them. problème moteur
French lolo Model 1998
hello, I have the impression that the engine runs on three cylinders yet the fumes are normal, it makes noise and it lacks power, a little idea? thank you all!!!! Rating : 5/5
A l'ancienne !!! Mais que du bonheur
French Xavrider Model 1996
What can I say? Yes, the bike is ultra-heavy at standstill compared with a 600 gex k1, the turning radius is bus-like, so manoeuvring in town takes a little longer, the passenger is very high back, the engine makes a lot of noise and the gearbox slams.

I'm not saying it's the perfect bike, but is perfection always synonymous with pleasure?

Aside from its minor shortcomings, the bike becomes a bike to ride once it's rolling
Once in a curve, it doesn't move
As for engine reliability, I don't question it
The riding position isn't very radical (for me, who's 1.93m tall, it's nothing but bliss, which isn't the opinion of my friends who are 1.60m to 1.80m tall), so it's a bike for tall people. But having ridden it for 550km, I've known it to be more tiring, just a little sore on the butt due to the dry amorto.
In full, aac, carb caps, Kn filter, 421 manifold, the bike is explosive, with the 1st kick in the butt from 2000 to 8000rpm and the 2nd taking over from 8000 to the red zone. However, for top speed, don't expect to exceed 300km/h
The passenger is well looked after, with a wide, supple saddle and legs that aren't too bent.
Fuel consumption reckons 190/200km with a little hustle and bustle
The raucous, jerky sound of carburetor bikes when the throttle is cut after heavy acceleration

I could go on all night about this bike, but to sum up, it's nothing but pleasure, giving good sensations, an old-fashioned bike, with easy, solid mechanics, that I've completely rebuilt with the help of a friend, because it deserves it.
Having owned and ridden many a Sv 650 k7, Cb1000r k11 , 600cbr rr k7, and tried a gsxr 600 k1, r6 k1, 600 gsr k8 at length, this is a bike I really enjoy riding without the linear engine of chicken wings (honda ^^) or the brutality of r6s, straddling the line between radicalized touring and marked sportiness.

A motorcycle that's not greedy when it comes to maintenance, with regular upkeep and pi c\'est tout.

I recommend it: a lot of fun at a very affordable price ;)

i've had 1 green zx7r since 1996 with 62,000 km that i bought new. i ride a 750 vfr all year round, and i go out with the kawa for fun, because i'm running out of superlatives to talk about this bike. it's a work of art! consume it yourself and without moderation. the bike par excellence, very robust engine and what class!!!(timeless).keep your colleagues!!!! I've had mine for 2 years now, it's from 1999 and has 31,000 km. Its heaviness is sometimes a handicap in a duo, making it a bit more physical, but with the right instructions, it's easy to play with. It's got a great face, a great chassis and a great engine (in full, of course),... Every outing is a pleasure, and the circuit....... It'll keep you happy for a long time! My old granny is the best in my eyes..... I'll never part with it.... Rating : 5/5
French Model 2003
bin mine is from 1996 and at 52000kms, I got it at 32000kms. An Acra line and a Micron output, a k&N, a 180, 2.5 front/back, the forks raised by 15mm in the tees and a 22mm spacer between the amorto and the frame and I can assure you that its weight immediately becomes less of a handicap on the pifs-pafs. This beast is an atomic bomb. You need the same thing, but lighter and with a bit more watttttttttt. M'sieur KAWA par pitié ressorter une 750. Rating : 5/5

Happy owner of this bike since 1 month and a half, 1999 and 25000 km! in the course of restoration but it deserves it well. approximately 1500km of pleasure made with the handlebar and always the same banana with starting! My memere is 10 years old and I find it perfect except for the weight which is forgotten very quickly. It's by no means the best for my taste, but she's always full of praise!!! bon route.... after having ridden a cbr600,stinger,750 gsxr and finally 1000 fzr i have just acquired a zx7r from 97 with 18000 kms on the odometer,i can tell you that this machine is a toy that makes you vibrate on every ride, its weight is not a disadvantage because i think that without it my kawa would be able to fly,i think i will keep it for a long time because i have finally found the motorcycle that i have always wanted Rating : 5/5
disgust!!! i have to part with her..
i'm going to miss her but i'll buy another green one with a ninja pot!!!
all right, it's heavy, but at least it's drivable. i used it every day in all weathers (except snow!!) no worries, nothing but pleasure to drive it!!! i recommend it for those who want a real sports car......

i'm lucky to have found such a bike
It's heavy, as has been said too often. But what a pleasure to start it up in the morning (full Yosh line), put on the gloves and helmet, and after a few kms of warm-up, GAZZZZ. I arrive at work with a banana and just one desire: TO TAKE IT BACK!
And what can I say when I get together with my mates, it's a real source of pride (and grip wringing)!
I hope everyone feels the same way...

mine just turned 10 1 month ago!!! 85,000 km on the odometer and still no serious breakdown. I just changed the clutch at 72,000 km, let's not complain !!! However, it's FULL POWER and even though I'm taking good care of it now, given its age, that wasn't always the case (far from it!!). It's true that compared to my HAGA RSV-R, it's outdated, but that doesn't matter, it's still the most beautiful of all! it's true that it's G E N I A L E a n d F I A B L E Rating : 5/5

a sbk on the road happiness on wheels i love it after many hyper sport style r1 gex and co by far the best in my eyes to make the right left stop of the rear tire it is not given to all machines far from it
the weight is consequent of course, but it makes up for it in outstanding stability, diabolical beauty and phenomenal noise (akra line), so I'll stop here
if you want a real sports car, don't hesitate, this is what you need!
i love it so much why didn't i buy it earlier!!!!!!!!

It's true that it's a bit heavy, but it's a real pleasure to ride, whether you're cruising or attacking, and it's perfectly sound. Mine from '98 is green with white rims, and a stainless steel Yosh line. I think I'll keep it until I retire (since I hear the engine is puncture-proof) in 30 years! Rating : 5/5
