presentation of the Z 1000 Special Edition 2014
The Z 1000 packs a punch. Easy to handle, as patator as you like, and as fast as you like, Kawasaki's flagship roadster nevertheless demands some composure when used to its full potential. In terms of looks, this is total expressionism. The SE version is the crowning glory. A special edition just to justify the color that best suits this Z 1000 phase 4? The 200-euro pill is a little hard to digest. It's the extra pear needed to dress the machine in the green and gray of a cybernetic praying mantis. A small jar of Akra would be appreciated as a sweet treat to justify the name.
technically, there's nothing special to report other than the evolutions associated with this generation of Zs: a stronger mid-range engine, a Showa SFF-BPF fork with large pistons and separate functions, less weight, more watts, and an emotional riding style: don't look for traction control or other electronic co-pilots; only ABS (optional) is available to help the brakes. Everything else is left to adrenalin and the right hand.
