presentation of the VULCAN 1700 Nomad 2016
for custom, cruising and large-displacement enthusiasts, the VN 1700 Tourer is the latest addition to the Kawa range. Replacing the 1600 Tourer, this Jumbo Jet fits right in between the late VN Classic and Vulcan Voyager. A small detail that came to light in 2015: Kawa custom bikes are no longer called VNs, but instead go by the American Vulcan name. And here, the first name is no longer 'Tourer' but 'Nomad'.
with its big 1700 cc twin, the VN... sorry, Vulcan, knows how to attract the eye and attention of enthusiasts. This Nomad version is predisposed to beautiful escapades in duo with the adequate comfort: rigid side cases, large windshield, cruise control, double set of footboards as big as meal trays, and sissy-bar of good dimension for the Madam's back. A fine beast for fine weekends, without wavering towards the exuberance of the Vulcan Voyager, even more equipped and overflowing, and more suited to long-haul trips. Compared to the VN 1600 Tourer, the 1700 has a new chassis, a new engine, a new 6-speed gearbox, and more torque and power. It's a remarkable vehicle, and we can't help but agree with its superb two-tone color scheme.

Splendid bike with a great look. Comfort and safety are the two words that come to mind. Excellent tourer on all kinds of roads. I recommend it. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Tornado
i would like to know if there is a reverse gear for this size and weight

This bike would be at its best if it had a hundred nags. Because even with a three-way air intake instead of two, a KN power commander V filter and a cobra trioval exhaust, it's still a bit small
sincerely Rating : 4/5 Respond to cyborg
i find this bike sublime and very well finished.question engine I'm afraid that 73 hp is a little low. I have an intruder 1500 2014 79 hp.qui va trè bien. question engine duo I would like to have your opinion, thank you and good road. Rating : 4/5 Respond to phiphi
Following my trip to Spain, I'm still amazed at the efficiency, reliability, comfort and beauty of the bike. Even my wife is surprised that I didn't ride it for 4,000 km in 1 1/2 weeks! For your information, I've changed the filter, the 3-way and the pot. It changes everything and the bike is much more responsive. It has nothing to envy of the Harleys and quite the contrary...I recommend it to you and for your love trips with your lady who will be delighted.
Good riding to you all. Rating : 5/5 Respond to bbo
