A special motorcycle, built not for a particular category of the Enduro World Championship, but for all those who want to turn their backs on convention and look for nothing more than fun, handling, perfect ergonomics and reasonable costs. With even more performance and a completely redesigned chassis, the 200 EXC meets these demands better than ever.
new intake manifold, new airbox
The 200 EXC's new airbox and flow-optimized intake flange between the airbox and carburetor now ensure better engine breathing. As a result, the water-cooled two-stroke revs even better, delivering more power throughout the rev range.
new frame
The completely redesigned frame in top-grade chromium-molybdenum steel boasts even greater lateral torsional rigidity. It also provides even better shock absorption, further enhancing the handling and comfort of the 200 EXC.
new swingarm, new suspension, new tuning
The 200 EXC's new, lighter forged aluminum swingarm houses the shock absorber even more centrally, for better load distribution. The new PDS suspension, 7 mm (0.28 in) longer, with High-/Lowspeed rebound and compression damping adjustment, is mounted flatter, offering greater progression.
retrofitted telescopic forks
The 200 EXC is equipped with the latest WP upside-down fork, with a wider adjustment range and new focus. The sensitive response and excellent damping of the open cartridge fork with 48 mm (1.89 in) tubes are a major factor in the 200 EXC's extraordinary handling and precision.
new wheels
The new wheels could hardly be lighter and more stable, with their machined hubs, Excel rims, zinc/nickel-coated spokes and aluminum nipples. This reduces unsprung and gyroscopic mass, contributing to the 200 EXC's extraordinary manoeuvrability.
bodywork, kick
The 200 EXC's new bodywork, with its slim seat and spoiler lines and excellent contact points, further perfects its ergonomics, making it even easier and more precise to ride. The longer rear mudguard protects the rider, while the new shape of the kick makes it easier to start the engine.
