presentation of the SUPERDUKE 990 2013

As Oli Le Belge pointed out, it's impossible to be discreet when riding a Superduke. In fact, that's the Superduke's primary mission, both in spirit and design - Streetfighter through and through, with an added layer of virility since 2007.

oK, the identity is preserved and it looks very much like the first model. In fact, it would be hard to call the evolution spectacular, since the original pencil strokes are so in-your-face. Take a closer look and pay close attention: new front mudguards, subtly redesigned sides in a brighter orange, a more "trendy" rear light, larger rear-view mirrors... in short, a few trifles. But it's the least obvious changes that are the most important.
Firstly, an extra 4 liters in the fuel tank, so you can have much more fun than with the original 15 litres. Then there's the ganache: a subtly revised fork head, meaner, sharper, equipped with a mini deflector (effectiveness close to a laughing fit) and, above all, containing a real dashboard. The 990 SuperDuke phase 2 inherits a multi-function instrument cluster that's prettier, easier to read, less "offbeat" and much nicer.

Underneath, Superbike-style braking is the order of the day. The 48mm-diameter WP fork is fitted with radial calipers, each with 4 independent pads. 320 mm of braking track inside... If you're looking for something better, look no further than hypersports.

as we've just seen, more fun for the Katoche, the terror of the streets. A seemingly casual attitude that nonetheless conceals the beginnings of wisdom. Like all the others, Miss SuperDuke has had to comply with Euro 3 and is becoming cleaner... and less radical with its geometry tweaked a little: more open caster angle and revised caster, more stability... Is the big Duke calming down?
When you see the profile of the sport tires and its percussion-powered look, you can't for a second imagine yourself being discreet or calm on its handlebars!

A marvel. Chassis, braking, comfort... My one, my Love, my Everything Rating : 5/5

CIAO A TUTTI,
ktoche d'enfer 3-day test ride, becane for sportsmen, problems: no extension on freeway from 140km/h, the two-cylinder sometimes stalls at red lights if too hot, and in the end you have to stay in the revs to be able to exploit it...sometimes it's annoying. OTHERWISE FUN AS A MOUNTAIN BIKE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SQUEEZE THE BREMBO. CIAO BAMBINI

I bought the new 2007 Superduke.
Since I've been riding it, I've had the blissful smile of a happy man... This machine fulfills all my motorcycling wishes... It's incredible. I did, however, change the original sprocket for a slightly larger one, and added a steering damper. As a result, no matter what gear you're in, as soon as you wring out the right-hand grip, you're catapulted! It's rock-solid, but still tricky for a young license holder
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to ride differently, as it's a real eye-catcher
I'm delighted...

well, that says it all! I just got off a Multistrada 1000DS (unbridled) that had already blown me away, but now...watch out, because you really get the impression of having a bike between your legs, but one that moves hard without looking like it and that quickly makes you want to play, especially once the engine is free. So, for the rest of you, "don't worry", have a good ride and ATTACK...! PS And it's got a mouth on it! Rating : 5/5
French D-Fens Model 2007
Aie Aie Aie!! How do you build such machines? It looks really beautiful and I've heard it grows really, really strong. After my FZ6 I'll be thinking about it, I promise. I'm going to start by taking it for a test ride (gloves, helmet and all...) and off I go. Big hesitation with the FZ1, the speed triple, and madame super duke, which is more original than the other two, even if the speed comes out on top. It's up to you to decide, but the only downside is really the price. Mr KTM, please make a little (big?) effort on the price. Otherwise, I think we'd be seeing a lot more of them on the road... It's an expensive toy (and we're not talking BMW here)! Rating : 5/5
French simbad280 Model 2007
I rode it yesterday, it's a piece of crap........no, I'm kidding. this bike is exceptional. it's the first time I've had so much fun with a restricted machine. every time I accelerate from a standing start, it lifts, the twin is ultra-torquey and gives you real sensations. the only downside is the range. the price is right for the machine. above 200-220, it's a bit hard without protection, but it's not bad
Motorcycle passion and a hell of a face.

French Super Duke Model 2007
Indeed, the range is short, especially as the LED lights up at around 80 kms. But don't be fooled, this is no Paris-Marseille machine (although it is!). It handles like a bike, and its explosive engine invites you to go over the top at every turn... A real toy. As for the brakes, they're worthy of the whole package
In short, I didn't hesitate to sell my R1 to have fun with this new toy: you can't see it everywhere, you don't need to be high up in the revs to have fun, and the national roads are its favorite terrain, especially in the pifs-pafs where it's very reactive
Top speed is more than adequate, even if you find yourself staying within the limits

Look no further, this is THE bike that lets you have fun while keeping your license! (everything is relative).
