As for the engine, the 450cc single-cylinder has also been redesigned. Now developing an estimated 60-70 hp, it features a new cylinder head and throttle bodies. The transmission has also been improved, as has the centralization of mass, which has been fine-tuned by working on the volume of the airbox and the location of the battery.

The 2019 KTM 450 Rally Replica benefits from an all-new tubular chassis, tested and developed and developed with factory riders to cope with the ever-more demanding courses of the latest Dakar rallies. It promises improved agility and greater stability under braking, while retaining the same straight-line stability for which KTM rally machines are renowned.
A new swingarm combined with a reworked shock absorber and the WP XACT Pro 48mm cartridge fork will improve traction under acceleration and rear-end stability.
The new fairing, meanwhile, has been designed to reduce turbulence when seated and offer better visibility when standing. All navigation instrumentation is housed in a carbon dashboard. A more comfortable seat, a redesigned fuel tank and the new Akrapovi? exhaust system also contribute to improved mass centralization.
