from 2003 to 2012Speedmaster - Triumph sets its sights on America.

a Bonneville in custom format. A shortcut that simply and perfectly illustrates the Speedmaster. Slightly less of a cruiser than the America (to which it is closely related), the Speedmaster is akin to a Sporster Low Rider. It began its career with the same 800 twin as the Bonnie, then quickly adopted the 865 cm3 block. Power drops but torque increases.
The Speedmaster recovers watts and even more torque in 2008 with the switch to fuel injection.

2011 sees the Speedmaster take to the road with a little more gusto. The modifications made make it more agile and comfortable. It represents a "reasonable custom" choice at Triumph, where the range is abundant and muscular. This was the heyday of the category for Triumph, which also offered theAmerica, the 1600 Thunderbird, the 1700 Thunderbird Storm / Nightstorm / Commander, and the Rocket III Roadster / Touring.

at the end of its 800 / 865 career, the Speedmaster went to sleep for a year, only to come back much stronger with the 1200 engine of the new generation of Bonnevilles. Very similar to the stunning 1200 Bobber, the Speedmaster develops 17 hp and, above all, 3.4 mkg more than the previous version. A much more present engine, a more plush appearance, combined with electronics that the 865 would never have envisaged. The 1200 Speedmaster is equipped with 2 driving modes, traction control, ABS, daytime running lights and cruise control.
