from 2005 to 2025Multistrada mid-size - V2 on every road
shortly after surprising (and almost shocking) the market and its fans alike with the first Multistrada, Ducati is now releasing the concept in a smaller format. A good way of introducing more people to this astonishing, playful hybrid. The MTS takes its engine from the small 620 Monster. It only boasts 63 hp, but its temperament and chassis make it an alert, efficient machine. And its distinctive design made a big impact.
it had a short career, then fell asleep for 10 years. It wasn't until 2017 that it returned with a more consensual design and a much more powerful engine. The block is a 937 cm3 with over 110 horsepower. Almost twice as much power as before, but as the big Multistrada is rated at around 160 hp, its size remains more accessible in the range.
It also gains a lot in terms of electronics, with Ride Modes, traction control, anti-wheeling and multi-stage ABS.
in 2019, an S version appears with semi-active suspension.
2025 marks a new stage with a new 890 cm3 engine with variable valve timing, the abandonment of desmodromics and the trellis frame.
