The Faucon Moto brand

andreas Kolar is the founder of Faucon Moto. He graduated from a technical college in Vienna, Austria. Andreas has worked in the IT and technology sectors for over 30 years. His extensive experience covers management positions in international companies and the creation of start-ups. He has always been fascinated by innovations in the world of technology.

how was Faucon Moto created?

as a director and in his previous position at Hewlett Packard, Andreas frequently visited Asia, particularly China. He saw a large number of electric vehicles on Chinese roads, including buses, cabs, electric scooters and electric bicycles. He was amazed by the evolution of technology and the popularity of electric vehicles in China. He had the idea of buying one in France, to use it as a practical and professional means of transport, but also for fun with his wife, and to enjoy even more this beautiful coastal and mountainous region that is the Côte d'Azur. He contacted numerous dealers all over France, but to his disappointment, he couldn't find a product that offered the right combination of power, autonomy, ease of use (weight) and price he was looking for.

disappointment turned to motivation, and he started looking elsewhere. After several months of in-depth research, he found a suitable electric scooter produced by a Chinese manufacturer. This first electric scooter was the trigger for the creation of Faucon Moto®. Andreas entered into a partnership with an experienced electric scooter company in Germany to optimize purchase price and transportation. Together, they worked with the Chinese manufacturer to make improvements and modifications to the existing product to meet the specific requirements and preferences of the German and French markets. in autumn 2017, Faucon Moto was officially born!
