presentation of the 250 Black Seven 2017

Responding to the various calls of the Vintage trend, Mash is riding a wave of success with its 125s. Its foray into medium-displacement bikes is more restrained, but not timid. Examples include the TT40, the 400 R Adventure and the Family Side.
The Sino-French manufacturer now wants to broaden its horizons in the 250 segment. To this end, it is offering twice the cubic capacity of its most English 125, the Black Seven. With a recipe that's sure to hit the bull's eye: retain the design and spirit, offer more power, improved components and keep the price down. What does this 250 Black Seven have to say?

charm, above all. This is one of the key components of the Mash success story. With the same face as the little one, the 250 attracts just as much sympathy. It's hard to tell the two apart, except for the sticker on the airbox and the inverted fork. Two 37 mm inverted tubes hold the spoked rim, more for style than any real quest for efficiency or rigidity. But it does give you a front end while adding a touch of cachet.

far from any sporting or muscular considerations, the 250 Black Seven's main aim is to give its propeller more willpower. To achieve this, it steals the single-cylinder engine from the Two Fifty. For those who love old-school mechanics, it's simply perfect. Cooling fins, a single ACT, the minimum number of valves, an old-fashioned design but a guarantee of reliability. After all, this engine is none other than the reborn version of a Suzuki block that once powered TUs and GNs. However, to the chagrin of carburetor enthusiasts and nostalgia buffs, it had to be fitted with Delphi fuel injection. Not much choice to pass Euro4.
The engine produces 18 hp and just under 2 mkg. Not exactly violent, and barely enough to venture out on the freeway. But the pep and trunk are much more pronounced than on the 125.

still in line with Euro4 and to satisfy a feeling of safety, the mid-size Black Seven is equipped with Bosch ABS. At a very affordable price for its displacement, this bike reinforces Mash's position without taking any risks. Like the 125, it boasts an old-fashioned look, full of oil, rock and freedom-seeking.the bike also boasts two kickstands, chrome-plated mudguards, a flared saddle, a megaphone, shock absorbers with separate cylinders, FAT BAR handlebars and an LED rear light. To be discovered like a new vinyl record or an unreleased James Brown.

French zappa Model 2019
Hello, I bought mine in March 2019.
I didn't want a 125, but not a big cube either. A light bike, not too high and not expensive.
I hesitated before buying it because I was dubious about the reliability of Chinese bikes
5 months and 1700km later, I'm very happy with it.
It's beautiful, well finished, holds the road, brakes well, consumes only 3.5l, and so far hasn't broken down
It's capable of riding as a duo, and doesn't vibrate.
Cruising speed 100/110
top speed 110/120.
A big 125! I'm very happy with it!
Only one flaw: stiff suspension
Once a mash, always a mash!

French Model 2017
mash is surfing the neo-ero wave, offering motorcycles that look good but have a finish and reliability that seem outdated, if not disastrous. It's just a vulgar Chinese motorcycle that you should compare with other, much more reliable models before buying. Rating : 1/5
