With this little machine, endowed with extraordinary goodwill, the French manufacturer has made a big impact. Not only has it put the spotlight back on this moribund category, but it's also been a real charmer.

cute, vintage and mid-century in appearance, the Family is a real crowd-pleaser. Not very powerful, but playful, delicate at first, then irresistible once you've got the hang of it, no one can resist it.
Mash now also offers a special Chrome & Black series, more tuxedoed and just as pimpin'. Finished in depth, the ensemble is reminiscent of 1930s Hollywood. The basket is a delight in total black, while the bike derives directly from the 400 Five Hundred Chromium. Not an ounce of green to dress it up, but chrome all over the tank and other parts to split the retina with every wisp of sunlight.
In Beaune, we didn't forget the glamorous touches: the leather strip running along the fuel tank, itself topped by an imitation Monza cap. All in all, this special edition seeks to be classier, while paradoxically being more discreet than the standard Family Side with its very English styling.

mash makes a further improvement to this model by fitting it with a small oil cooler, to improve the reliability of its gentle mono. The latter, with just a tad more than 27 horsepower, proves sufficient for the task. It knows how to whisper of forgotten paths and roads, so you can enjoy lost moments in the countryside and out for a ride. He loves unplanned outings; he's less fond of traveling. But he can do it, as some of his journeys testify.

the Chrome & Black will only be available in a limited series, at an extra cost of almost 300 euros. It remains the most affordable side on the market. Accessible doesn't mean it should be taken lightly. We strongly recommend an introductory course and optimized geometry settings.
