presentation of the 250 Dirt Track 2020

Mash firmly believes in the future of dirt-tracks. There are no fewer than 4 variations in its range. The machines of the same name range in size from 50 cm3, 125 cm3 to 650 cm3. The 250 Dirt Track fits into the middle of this family, with the same lineage as all the others.

silhouette, mug, spoked wheels, old-fashioned sporty folding seat, cobblestone tires and Monza-style fuel filler cap - it's impossible to tell the 2.5 from its little sister. Only the slightly chunkier engine makes the difference.

derived from the Two-fifty, this 249 cm3 block makes for a sparkling ride. With 20 hp at 7500 rpm, it produces almost twice as many watts as the 1/8th-liter. On the scales, this medium-dirt-track is a hair heavier. But at 130 kilos, it's on a par with most 125s from other manufacturers. Torque comes in at 2 mkg. Not huge, but you can't expect much more from this type of powertrain.

the chassis is very simple and classic, with a single-cradle tubular steel frame, two side shocks, a 37 mm fork with protective gaiters, one brake disc per wheel (supervised by ABS) and 17" rims.

its front plate and tiny headlight give the Dirt Track, whatever its displacement, a distinctive look. You may cringe or swallow hard, but the effect is there, direct, obvious, a tracker at heart. This bike wants to get its tires dirty, and the rider won't ask for anything better than to get out the boot to go with it.

French erwan Model 2019
i have a 650 dirt track, nice face, quite happy, the problem is a lot of electrical problems, for the headlight you can not change the bulb, you have to change the complete headlight, otherwise my question is my engine light is on permanently, I have done a reset with the meter, but nothing, is the lambda probe clean or do I have to change it? French Blue Phenix Model 2019
Disappointment on all counts!
The bike is good just for the city, with a top speed of 110km/h on flat roads, and suspensions that won't let you ride it on trails or even rough roads if you're sensitive about your back
The build quality is a real danger, as everything loosens up when you ride it: I lost the rear buckle with the plate, the clutch adjustment had to be tightened to death to prevent it from going out of adjustment all the time, and so on..
The advertised fuel consumption is misleading: I've never done less than 3.4L/100km, even when driving very coolly, whereas normally I always do less than the advertised consumptions
Comfort is awful, the seat has a hard thing that quickly hurts the buttocks, the suspensions are there just for decoration (by the way, at the rear, they are fake bombs)
In short, Mash is a big no-no for me!
