presentation of the V 85 TT Centenario 2021
For its centenary, Guzzi is offering commemorative drapery to 3 of its models. Including the V 85 TT trail bike, highlighted by evocative pale shades. In reference to.....?
Let's leave the suspense to the young guzzlers.
Those familiar with the history of Mandello's brand will already have the reference in their memories. In its 100 years of existence, the company has seen ingenuity, modernity, impressive machines, setbacks and a destiny full of twists and turns. Among its most famous models is a very special one, the Otto Cilindri.
The V 85 TT Centenario takes on the colors of the former competition bike. Matte gray for the tank, faded green for the mudguard and side covers (reminiscent of the color of the huge fairing on the reference bike) and a brown leather seat.
It 's not very flashy, and almost sad for an anniversary model. Why did Guzzi choose this OttoCilindri as a point of reference to its past?
Because it's one of the most famous and incredible GP machines in history. It was powered by an extremely compact 500 cm3 V8. Not easy to develop, exorbitantly expensive, it won virtually nothing, but forged an extraordinary aura for itself thanks to its technical specificities.

To accompany the exclusivity, we discover the brand name embroidered in gold lettering on the saddle, the eagle symbol in gold plating on the sides of the tank, and a special 100-year logo on the mudguard.
This edition will only be available in 2021, without any technical modifications from the standard V 85 TT. An endearing neo-retro trail bike, with a uniquely designed 76 hp twin with raised side cylinders. This 850 cm3 comes with 5 riding modes, traction control, cruise control and a host of technical features. Engine mount, spoked rims, cardan drive, small bubble and handguards. All at a reasonable extra cost.
