presentation of the V7 750 Classic 2008

nostalgia is slowly making its way into modern motorcycle production. Kawasaki tried its hand at the retro look with the W 650, a replica of the British bikes of the 60s - that was almost 10 years ago. Then Triumph got in on the act too, and re-branded the Bonneville, with a modern chassis and engine in a look close to the original. Ducati didn't stand idly by; the Italian factory also delved into its past to draw inspiration for its SportClassic range.

so, when your name is Guzzi, and you have such a renownedlineage as renowned as that of the V7, why deprive yourself of a beautiful machine with retro styling?

it's also called V7. A delightful little bike with the look of another era, with that little charm that makes you want to try it out straight away. The Sixties designed this machine, and the Breva 750 lends it its engine. A small, unassuming 744 cm3, equipped with a cardan shaft and the typical Guzzi piston stroke, which will keep the price of this machine in check. If the silhouette puts it in the vintage category, the equipment is just as wise as the twin's 49 horsepower. A standard fork with a single brake disc, a very classic double tubular steel cradle frame, 2 rear amortos, a pair of spoked wheels... Is there any need for more? Certainly not. This is a pleasure bike, with a whiff of the nutty and the charming.
