presentation of the 800 DRAGSTER RR 2016

to give the Brutale an even more striking style, its sister Dragster has also devoted itself, body and soul, to the Varese philosophy of uncompromising beauty and desire.
Of course, MV never lets a model sit quietly on a market; it quickly veers towards the more emotional and/or sensational. The 800 Dragster had scarcely finished shaking your retina, and here's an RR version to inject a dose of adrenalin. A hot roadster... And scoundrelish! With extra horsepower and top-notch equipment, this Dragster 800 RR promises to grab its rider by the scruff of the neck.

starting with its galvanized plastic and singular features. What really catches the eye and begins to bewitch are the superb Kineo tangential-spoke wheels with anodized hubs. Terrific! Bleeding hints of color are evident on the sides of the tank, the fork, the hubs and the fins of the headlamp cover.
Now that it's bitten, the Dragster 800 RR can harpoon you with its technical improvements. The front end has been upgraded with a lighter, fully adjustable inverted fork by Marzocchi, while being "held" by the addition of a steering damper.
Prudent and appropriate when you learn that this RR version spits out quite a few extra watts. By working on the airbox, the exhaust system and installing a second set of injectors, the engine-makers are able to get 15 more horsepower and 5 nm more out of the Italian 3-legger. Outch: the 798 cm3 sends out 140 hp on the RR. That's something! Especially since MV-Agusta cavalries are hot-blooded. On the other hand, you'll have to get your watts much higher up the rev range. From 11,600 rpm, maximum power here is 13,100 rpm. The same applies to torque, which peaks at an extra 1,500 rpm, or 10,100 rpm.

electronics-armored like all members of the family, the 800 Dragster RR is equipped with MVICS 2.0 management. It includes Ride-By-Wire, 8-level traction control, 4 riding modes working with engine management, traction control, throttle sensitivity, engine braking, torque curve, etc... Three are pre-programmed according to specific profiles (Sport, Normal, Rain) and one is completely user-configurable. A bonus on the RR version is the new Quickshifter EAS 2.0, which allows you to shift up and down without touching the clutch.

whether RR or standard, the 800 Brutale Dragster still relies on its tubular steel trellis frame, linked to attractive aluminum plates, Brembo 4-piston radial brakes on 320 mm discs, a planed rear end, superb exhaust pipes, a large 200 mm rear tire and a striking design. Three details: the RR gains a small kilo in history, a more comfortable saddle, and a big inflation on the price. The 16-plate mark has been passed, making this Dragster RR one hell of a treat.

French franckb5940 Model 2015
Hello,

I own this machine. It's a pleasure bike, and I'm not looking for anything else.

On the other hand, it's an immense pleasure to ride, and the contract is well fulfilled in this respect: lightness, precision, weight/power ratio, shifter, braking... and a mouthful! In short, a great cocktail!
