presentation of the 1000 Rush 2020
MV-Agusta knows how to keep the fantasy pot boiling, with renowned alliances, motorcycles with a strong character and beautiful creations. With this Rush, the thermostat goes up a notch. A true wildcat, joining the clan of hyper-roadsters. No hesitation before cognitive impact - this machine exudes mythological confrontation.
Not every biker will emerge from such an encounter unscathed. Its bestial features, its mechanical eructations, its fascinating, skin-deep madness make it a fourth Gorgon. Once again, the Varese firm demonstrates its verve for creating motorcycles of rare intensity.
The machine's brutality is in full force. In fact, this Rush is closely derived from the Brutale. But its highly tortured, Star Trek-like rear end, hand-crafted SC Project titanium twin mufflers and distinctive rear rim make it even more diabolical. A carbon flange adorns the right side - fortunately, it's made of carbon to ensure consideration; otherwise, you'd be tempted to think MV had just invented the motorcycle wheel cover. Like on entry-level cars.
Much of the Rush's itinerant identity comes from its headlight. A spectacular play of light, with a farandole of LEDs providing curved illumination. An element taken directly from the RVS #1, as if this carnivore were claiming a genetic affinity.

Ready to surpass 300 km/h, the 1000 Rush contains a boiling-hot powertrain. The Brutale's 4-cylinder engine offers the same amount of horsepower on both models, 208 at 13,000 rpm. That's more than most hypersports. Installing the matching exhaust and ECU (included), power rises to 212hp. Torque is high, maxing out at 11.9 mkg.
Since the rider will (hopefully) never see the titanium connecting rods, 8 injectors or radial valves, let's take a look at what the MV-Agusta Rush has in store for the rider. Electronically, there's a choice of 4 maps (Sport - Race - Rain - Personnalisable) with a hefty dose of riding aids: 8-level traction control, anti-wheeling, Up&Down shifter, ABS with rear wheel anti-lift, cruise control and on-board GPS module.
The Rush also features a 5-inch TFT color instrument panel with smartphone connectivity. With the in-house app, on-board assistants can be set from the palm of your hand. The technology package is completed by electronic suspension.

The brakes are also top-notch. Brembo supplies its excellent Stylema monobloc 4-piston calipers, mounted radially in front of 320 mm discs. Finally, is it still necessary to present the backbone of an MV-Agusta?! Yes, for the pleasure of grasping its tubular trellis frame with aluminum side plates, followed by a monobracket with unmistakable cachet.
So, this MV-Agusta Rush 1000, it can rip the head off, the retina, the gumshoes, and the bank account. Given the exceptional qualities the brand infuses into this bike, it's hard to imagine it being as reasonable as an 800 Brutale Rosso. And yet... It's a tad less expensive than the Brutale Oro. That's just for consolation, because the Brutale 1000 RR doesn't make the same argument.
