The roadster is on a roll... With hypersports and other ultra-fast machines on the government's radar, more and more thought is being given to a fun, easy-to-use machine with watts everywhere. The SV 1000 N comes at just the right time, and is accessible to the widest possible audience. Lower and lighter than the S, and otherwise more maneuverable thanks to its raised handlebars, it also demonstrates its compactness. Its waspish waist and mischievous looks invite you to enjoy the open road. Aesthetically, it's a copy-paste of the 650; the only easily identifiable difference is the 2 exhaust pipes (1 on the 650). A closer look reveals the presence of a steering damper, the radiator and swingarm are thicker, and the engine... The excellent Suzuki V2 fits this big roadster perfectly. It's still the same as on the TLS, but a little reworked: it gains in ease what it loses in character. As torquey and efficient as ever, and with a thrilling 11,000 rpm of torque, it's certainly within the reach of many, but no longer has the rebellious edge that was so pleasing on the first TLS. Add to this an exemplary suppleness that allows it to pick up under 2,000 rpm in last gear... which will give way to a character that's still very much present. As for the bike's chassis, it's easy to get to grips with, aided by its meticulous ergonomics. Once the suspension has been fine-tuned, the SV 1000 transforms itself into a first-rate attacker.

For the price, it's a very very good bike
I had a lot of problems with the suspension at the beginning: "steering / swaying"
However, after a good suspension adjustment, the problem is no more, it's a real rail
I also made a few modifications to give it a bit more engine character
After all these modifications, it's a real crime buster, and when you're riding it, you can't help but be a jerk
A really good bike, it deserves its reputation, and it's really cheap to buy

fabulous engine, lots of torque, very easy to use. i put it full on and there's a real gain. i used to ride it with a VTR 1000F and a ZX7R. i still have the 7R. the only complaint i have is that the suspension is very difficult to adjust, and it's really not original. the rigid chassis is good, but not for everyone. mine, with two devils and a KN, produces 130 hp all the same Rating : 5/5 Respond to lolo
i'm up to 255 with it and i have no wind so
for the debridage it goes up faster in the revs it's more pleasant I find
the road holding is very good but for me too soft with the aurigine setting

it was a real pleasure, especially on the fast climbs (superbagnères) etc... in short, a pleasure bike to be enjoyed without moderation. beware, however, of the powerful rear brakes, which unleash quite easily...
