2022 saw special series in all directions, especially at Triumph. A few at Kawa, at Katoche, and at Suzuki for the benefit of the 950 GSX-S roadster. First two versions in Italy (MotoGP replica and SERT replica), then today on the eve of the French GP with the R'' Design.
For once, Suzuk' dares to be different. The market has seen many Grand Prix-style special series, Yoshimura, Ecstar and anniversary GSX-Rs. Here, the note changes. A large, stylized "R" takes over the body of the bike. A marriage of gold and black coffee, on patches of grey. The lively colors are echoed on the rims, mini-wings and engine cowling.
Suzuki France called on the services of AD Koncept to carry out this customization. This company is one of the specialists in the sector. What could I give you as an example to get an idea?! Oh yes, the 2009 CBR 1000 Playboy, that's them.
The official photos released by Suzuki are misleading. They feature this GSX-S with its special color scheme and a few OPTIONAL accessories. So don't be fooled into thinking that the price and the R'' Design package will offer you the Akrapovic pot, the plate holder or the seat cover.
You will, however, be entitled to rear-view mirrors, as required by law.
The GSX-S 950 R'' Design needs to make its mark. It will be presented exclusively during the French GP from May 12 to 15. Spectators will be able to discover it on the brand's official stand.
The model presented will be the first in a limited series of 50. A badge on the tank will authenticate each model. This GSX-S is going up in price, selling for just 11,549 euros. But for the same model as the one shown in the photo, you'll need to add a 2,000 roros bill (to get the pot, protections, windscreen, etc.)
