Motorcycle specifications Triumph2500 Rocket III GT 221 Special Edition 2022 The revelation of strength
presentation of the 2500 Rocket III GT 221 Special Edition 2022
When you take a big slap in the back, one of two things happens: either you get the glowing trace of five fingers; or you think back to that big 221 marked on the special edition Rocket III GT. Then you realize what 22.5 mkg of torque your arms and kidneys can handle.
Triumph has gone so far as to inscribe this provocative number on the sides of the fuel tank. This 221 invokes the number of Newton-meters produced by this cruiser's monstrous 3-cylinder engine. The accompanying paint scheme takes us into the realm of bloodthirsty lechery, as the Red Hopper grabs the fuel bag and part of the front fender. A deep red, like the blood that rushes through the arteries as the wave of power surges... And in contrast, moments of black sprinkled here and there to express the soul.
To please the eye of the rider, flatter the specs or inform the curious, the Rocket III 221 edition has tattooed its engine's technical data on its back. Power, displacement, internal dimensions, torque - every reader will know what they're dealing with.
This GT model, like the R version, is available in the same limited series... in time (one year) but not in production.
As a reminder, the GT is a more relaxed version. The riding position changes, with feet forward, a lower seat and handlebars closer to the rider. Equipment is enhanced with heated grips, a sissy-bar, a thicker passenger seat and a micro windscreen.
Both are fitted with beefy Brembo Stylema brake calipers, 47 mm inverted forks, a single-axle with integrated universal joint to reveal a superb rim (with polished spokes on the GT), huge tires, a fierce look and technology at every level. As with all the other special series, you'll have to shell out some extra cash to make it your own - 900 euros for the Rocket III 221. Customers won't stop at this detail, given the original price of this road-going buffalo.
