After Steve McQueen, Triumph has found a new muse in the person of Bond. James Bond. A global icon and a sure bet for conveying an image of elegance, prestige... and booze too.

The most powerful of café-racers is now part of Her Majesty's Secret Service. Forget Aston Martins, pretty ladies and interplanetary plots, Bond's entire history is written on the skin of this Speed Triple 1200 RR.

And yet, its dress is more suited to Spectre than MI6. It's a duo of grays, separated by a hand-painted gold border. The fork head plays the intro by drawing the inside of a pistol barrel; subtle. A badge inlaid in the top tee allows the rider to see the serial number of his machine; Exclusive. But the main tribute is on the tank; Celebrity.

Partly on its sides, with the official 007 logo, absorbed in a large 60. That's not what we're interested in. But this: his back is tattooed with logo-titles from every film in the saga. From "James Bond 007 vs Dr No" to "Mourir peut attendre", "Skyfall", "GoldenEye", "L'homme au pistolet d'or" or "Goldfinger" - they're all there! 25 different calligraphies, 6 different actors, one hero.

The technical and mechanical package is identical to that of the standard Speed RR, with its big 180 hp 3-cylinder, Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 pilot-controlled suspension, formidable chassis, Brembo Stylema brakes and full complement of electronics (color TFT screen, IMU, ABS cornering, traction control, five riding modes, Up&Down shifter, keyless entry system, cruise control, Bluetooth and GoPro connectivity)

The 1200 Speed Triple RR joins the collection of models stamped with the British secret agent's favor. For the release of the ^25th Bond film , a Scrambler 1200 and a 900 Tigerwere produced as special Bond series. This time, the entire filmography is honored.
But for very few. Of the 60 models sold worldwide, 10 were destined for France. All sold out.... Even before their presentation!
