For 69 years, James Bond has spent his life dying, boozing, chasing girls, saving the world, driving sublime cars and shooting the cameraman as soon as the credits roll. When it comes to bikes, however, it took him a while to get the hang of it.

James started out piloting a Yamaha XJ 650 turbo, ruining a BMW R 1200 C in Goldeneye, driving a Montesa Cota 4RT through the streets of Haiti... This time, he's in charge of several Triumphs.

The British manufacturer has taken a liking to the Commander Bond. With two of its models - the 1200 Scambler and the 900 Tiger - featured in the forthcoming feature film. For the planned 2020 release of No Time to Die, a Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition was created. All 250 copies were sold, but the film screening was postponed due to the Covid 19.

Finally , the 25th adventures of 007 will be released in cinemas in autumn 2021, and Triumph is back in the spotlight with a new limited series. But this time, it's the other motorcycle in the film that gets the honors. A Tiger 900 Rally Pro falls in love with the hero, welcomes him with open handlebars and transforms itself into a Bond Edition.

The trail here is very dark. Matt Sapphire Black isn't enough; it also needs a whole bunch of blacked-out parts to seduce: the frame, engine guards, sabot, headlight support plates, additional headlights and fork tubes. This allows the gold-lettered emblems, including the famous 007 logo, to stand out.

but that's no justification for the steep price increase. The explanation lies in the enhanced equipment. The Tiger Bond gains an Arrow exhaust in stainless steel and carbon, a pair of Michelin Anakee Wild off-road tires in addition to the original BridgestoneA41s, embroidery on the seat (heated), a dashboard animation similar to the movie intro, a certificate of authenticity and a top trigger guard plate engraved with the serial number. It will be limited to 250 units.

in this special Bond edition, the Tiger 900 reaches the price of a hypersport. Of course, the use has nothing to do with it, and neither does the equipment - except for the brake calipers. Let's take a look at what's inside this 900 Tiger.
