Hands and eyes can express a certain emotion. An intense glow, like the bite of a mirror in the sun, matched by a stormy breath. That's what awaits those around a Rocket 3 R Chrome Edition. Triumph has placed a howl of metal above its most monstrous engine.

On this huge drop of steel wedged between handlebar and seat, a craftsman has spent hours polishing and treating... resin, primer, paint and chrome for a high-quality result. The whole job is done by hand and takes over 5 hours to complete. This is one of the reasons why the models in this collection are so special.

Other reasons that set this Rocket III apart (like its GT sibling) are a handsome price increase, a well-orchestrated showcase and limited availability. But only in time. You won't find this power and reflection custom until 2023.

Last year, it was the "Gold Line" - this time, the Chrome Line. Every year brings a new Triumph collection. The manufacturer is highlighting its Modern Classics range.
The Rocket finds a fitting regalia. The Rocket, with its colossal torque and extraordinary three-cylinder engine. Once you've been stunned by the finish of the fuel tank, it's up to the body to absorb the 221 Nm of power disgorged by the engine.

yet the Rocket III R isn't the most devil-may-care. The GT Chrome version boasts a touch of color that's both striking and successful. Both are over-equipped (Brembo Stylema brakes, 47 mm forks, huge tires, multiple driving modes, traction control, cruise control, ABS, keyless start, color TFT screen, hill-start assist, adjustable footrests, coupled braking), very heavy (291 kilos for the R), very large (2451 cm3) and very unreasonable.

Apart from the chrome/black duo and the extra dark touches, this British model offers no additional equipment or patent letters. Technical features and equipment are identical to the standard version; nothing more, nothing less.
Just an outfit, but more than that; more than a motorcycle... A hyper-localized exuberance: in the watts, the skin and the checkbook.
