presentation of the XV 950 Racer 60eme anniversaire 2016
Rebellious, the Yamaha 950 Bolt? In terms of looks, certainly. The twin doesn't have much power, like all engines of this displacement in this segment. But it's got character, and knows how to show off its torque when the mood strikes. In its Racer version, the XV 950 wants to give itself the air of a café-racer... or rather a custom-racer. This role will be perfectly assumed with this special 60th anniversary livery.
The black and yellow chequered Speedblock gives Yamaha's little custom a real"old-school racing" feel. The whole identity of this commemoration is expressed on the tank. The matching seat cover is an irresistible bonus. If you're tempted to ride a custom that spent all night in the King Roberts Spirit discotheque, look no further.

I don't understand why in France, given the current repression, this kind of bike isn't more popular for thrill-seeking at legal speeds
Apparently they've already discontinued the model because of euro5 standards, so maybe they'll make another water-cooled one... Rating : 4/5 Respond to Damien
