presentation of the YZF-R6 600 RACING FRANCE 2000
Spectacular for its dynamism and engine, the R6 has earned itself a fine reputation on the racetrack. Compact, lively, powerful in the low and mid-rpm ranges, then explosive after 10,000 rpm, this pistarde oozes adrenalin from one end of the chassis to the other.
The YZF-R6 outdoes itself for the end of 2000. After the ultra-limited series of R7 Bol d'or replicas, the 600 also comes in a special edition. Under the name of Yamaha Racing France, it will be decorated with the codes and stickers of the OW-02 that won the famous 24-hour race. 300 units are planned, each identified by a numbered gold plate on the fork crown. An additional 2,000 francs, or 64,990 francs, will be required for the #17's coat-of-arms, captured by the hysterical screams of the 4-cylinder 600.
