presentation of the S 2020
The original Zero S hit the streets in 2009 as the first of its kind in the motorcycle industry. Packed with cutting-edge technology, the Zero S can reach up to 359 km; with more range than any other production electric motorcycle. The basic version will have to make do with 143 km. Ideal for getting from A to B, and exciting on twisty back roads, this streamlined machine continues to revolutionize riders' view of electric motorcycles with its instant torque, ease of use and low cost of ownership.
The Zero S will feature the updated Next Gen app in 2020, ensuring a simplified connection with customized riding modes, charge status, various updates and bike diagnostics. This completes the 2019 evolutions: the Zero S ZF7.2 11 kW gains 35% more power and an 8% higher top speed than the previous version.
zero S models (from 2015 onwards) can be charged at up to 137 kilometers per charging hour using the retrofitted Charge Tank 6 kW accessory on Level 2 charging stations, 6 times faster than with standard 220 V sockets.
the Zero S features a long-term storage mode. In a world first, the motorcycle automatically optimizes the battery's state of charge to further extend its life. No complex procedures required.
available in three versions:
- Zero S ZF 7.2 11 kW - A compact 7.2 kWh battery frees up space for a practical storage compartment and reduces weight by 43 kg, for a very light ride. Limited to 11 kW.
- Zero S ZF 14.4 11 kW - With a 14.4 kWh power pack for double the range. A Power Tank can be added for even greater range. Limited to 11 kW.
- Zero S ZF 14.4 - With large 14.4 kWh power pack and unrestricted power for higher maximum sustained speeds.
