presentation of the F 650 GS 2006

a few minor tweaks to the F 650 GS to start 2004 with a smile. The engine benefits from the dual ignition system that had colonized all twin-equipped BMs. Combined with a new electronic engine management system, the single-ignition engine should offer greater riding pleasure, as well as lower pollution and fuel consumption. The headlamp and front mudguard have been modified, as have a number of other small details, all with the aim of making everyday life more pleasant. The F is also available in a very attractive Dakar version. BM has not forgotten its glory days in the sand dunes.

Idem
French Soulac JL Model 2004
Good mono, qualities and faults like all of them, but 4.6 l per 100, that's top. 69000km and so far I'm a fan. I have the police version with backrest are, and expandable hard cases. no hitchhiking passengers, my wife appreciates... Rating : 5/5
alarme
French bouille Model 2005
I have a 2005 650, which has an alarm that discharges the battery in two weeks if I don't drive. It consumes 160 ml amps Rating : 4/5
French Thierry31 Model 2007
Good engine, excellent chassis and good handling. Good acceleration and torque.
Shortcomings:
Little flexibility (you have to be at the right rpm)
ABS on rear wheel too intrusive
Engine (mono) unpleasant on freeways, better with a long gear ratio (16x 42 ) and the speedometer works well.
Rating : 4/5
c'est la moto qu'on oublie...
French riton 66 Model 2005
All's well, it's a machine you can count on...
Except that maintenance is relatively costly, but it's a BMW...and if you're not a bit of a mechanic, you have to have it done....

French babache 89 Model 2005
I own a 2005 f650gs and am satisfied with it in every way. Of course, it's nothing like a real sports bike, but in my fifties, it's a wise choice. Truly a great bike. Rating : 5/5
French boopisteph Model 2004
motorcycle that's up to the job.
It's only a 650, so not very torquey or powerful, which is to be expected.
It starts on the quarter without a hitch.
Fuel consumption is ridiculous - 5 L when spinning.
The bmw high bubble has been straightened to provide better protection, while the low bubble is non-existent for protection.
Steering column bearing replaced.
Original chain kit has 24,000 kms and there's still some margin in the tension.
A deux ca frotte vite ...
Efficient ABS braking.
Nice heated grips!
Trail, road, path, mountain, city, it's good for everything.
I'd only switch to the 1200 gs or explore just to gain a little more horsepower and torque.
This 650gs is economical, practical, reliable and versatile.

11 years of loyal service!!!
incredibly manÅ"uvrable (like a bike!)
1st 2nd mole because of electronic management (computer)

good recovery 3,4,5th

just the rear bearing screwed up at 7000 km and the metal oil hose oozing under warranty.
chain kit at 25000 km
fuel consumption 4 liters per cent!

same for the rear bearing \'made in Roumanie\' what a shame for BMW\' !!!!

French Bmw Marko
Romania was the best producer of bearings.
World-famous ,it exported almost 50 years for all the car manufacturers companies as well as the big industrial companies.
So it’s an honor, not a disgrace!
All parts, even metal ones, have a limited lifespan!
Legio Patria Nostra!
