presentation of the 821 Monster Dark 2016
With a striking evolution, the Monster "mid-size" strengthens its position while opening up new possibilities and a wider field of action. With a powerful (112 hp), modern (liquid-cooled - 4 valves/cylinder) Testastratta engine, the 821 Monster has a lot to say, a lot of character and, above all, a lot to say.
like some members of the Ducati family, the 821 Monster is available in a Dark version. The key word here is black. A deep, anonymous color, with a matte tone to cover the beast. The rims and frame also fade into the shade. Bright colors only managed to conquer two bastions: the shock absorber spring (yellow) and the MONSTER logo on the tank (red). As well as appreciating this darker side, the 821 Monster is striking for its price. In this color, it was priced at just under 10,000 euros when it first came out. Today, inflation has pushed it over this psychological barrier - but the advantage of a big purple color over the standard 821 remains. Without detracting from the tempting array of features: eye-catching design, minimalist trellis frame, crazy twin, 3-stage ABS, 8-stage traction control, 3 riding modes, big upside-down forks and Brembo brakes. As with the standard 821, we only regret the disappearance of the single-sided arm...
