the combination of Harley's Custom Vehicle Operations department and the Electra Glide Ultra Classic is back again this year to offer the pinnacle of the HD range: a luxury liner pegged with authenticity. First of all, there's the engine, huge and bewitching for fans of the big Twin Cam. The 45° twin that makes this big tourer vibrate proudly announces 110 inches, 1803 cm3 of patient, inimitable muscle. Nothing less than Harley's biggest engine, capable of delivering even more torque to the Electra. The power of the Screamin'Eagle twin (almost 100 hp) is only of moderate importance to us, so we'll stick with it and enjoy the almost 16 mkg of torque it delivers. Secondly, this CVO model is more than considerate to the traveler. It boasts an attractive flamming paint finish and a perforated leather seat and backrest. The backrest now features adjustable lumbar support. Crests and trim elements are also added for decoration. Standard equipment is, of course, plentiful: Harman/Kardon 40-watt-per-channel audio system, ABS, GPS, rider/passenger intercom, grips and new heated seat with leather inserts... plus the colossal rocking of the mill. The dual 2-1-2 chrome exhaust system is finished off with black mufflers, and the new mirrors are clad in chrome/glass. The price range matches the luxury on offer, which is to say, dizzying.
in 2013, the CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide is offered in an even more limited seriese, 110th Anniversary Special Edition, with exclusive commemorative elements, high-end features and special finishes.
