presentation of the CBR 1000 RR Fireblade Repsol Replica 2007
Doohan, Rossi, Hayden, Pedrosa... What do these riders have in common? Quite simply, they all raced at the highest level of competition for the world's leading motorcycle manufacturer, under the famous Repsol colors. Since it's almost impossible to get hold of an NSR 500 or an RCV 211, Honda thought of the fans and released a Repsol version of the first-generation 1000 Fireblade. And since the big CBR changed in 2006, the manufacturer is doing it again with this limited edition 1000 RR Repsol Replica.
Slimmer, more aggressive and tauter, this deco is a significant and successful evolution of the previous Repsol. The recipe is the same: an almost mimicry of the war paintwork and sponsors of the official RCV 211. The exception: the frame and swingarm lose their black coloring and revert to the old aluminum-gray look.
The look is superb and will flatter the owner. However, it's a pity that Honda didn't take the opportunity to make a few technical modifications to give more substance to the plumage. A few more horses, Öhlins, carbon, a pot and a little more "racing" in this edition wouldn't have gone amiss.
In 2007, the CBR will offer you three ways to stand out: standard, HRC design or Repsol Replica.
