presentation of the CBR 1000 RR Fireblade Repsol Replica 2005

HRC fans are going to be the happiest men in the world: the CBR 1000 RR has been given a magnificent and highly symbolic makeover. The bike sports the colors of Honda's most famous Grand Prix sponsor: REPSOL. This mythical orange has long been associated with HRC. All that's missing is Valentino ROSSI in a combarde next to the machine, and you'd swear you're looking at an RCV 211 ready for battle on the track.

mine has 42,000km, a powerful, linear bike, which is an advantage with such power, especially as there's no electrical assistance to make up for a blunder... equipped with an akra line, it sings more than well. beautiful look, but on Belgian roads it's no picnic, the bumps and holes quickly call you to order, and the position is unbearable below 130/140. fuel consumption 6.5 but count on 8 liters and much more if you pull in it. subject to the chain tensioner of dis tri which disconnects. maintenance/tire budget high but within the norm for this kind of bike, obviously requires a lot of experience especially as it is more stable than agile, which can surprise if you come from a 954 ! very nice bike unfortunately not easy to use as you would be tempted to do because if you put it on the track breakage is the big risk

i also own a repsol and i completely agree with jj on today's sports bikes: it's the riders who make the difference, not the bikes, which have more or less the same performance. Rating : 5/5
owner of a pepsol replica, there's nothing wrong with it, it's too beautiful. And even if some suz and other yams are supposedly more powerful, the honda brings beauty and doesn't drag on our roads. In any case, a bike's performance depends above all on the guy riding it, and if it's too heavy for some people, they can lose weight and feel better

I can't help drooling when I see my teacher on this CBR

A magnificent machine, powerful, with a personality all its own, just like we know it from Honda

I'm very happy to see this manufacturer devote itself to the world of hypersport once and for all, because before the last 5 years, researchers remained relatively wise and reserved

Despite being the least powerful in its class, this bike is truly unique, and I think honda is well on its way to making a name for itself for some years to come!

a superb bike I've been riding it for 2 months now and it's a real pleasure to ride
light a little harsh

My odometer now reads 4500 Km, and I've also seen the new CBR 1000 RR model in red and black, as well as the other 2006 Hypersports, in the specialist magazines, but my opinion of this bike remains unchanged: the look is beastly and the pleasure is there, "as on the first day", and even with the clamped version (I always ride a homologated bike + original exhaust), I can wear the tires to a halt at the rear (on both sides) and at the front on the left
A specialist magazine describes this bike as "the best" in terms of roadholding, so what do you expect from a bike in everyday use: to look for the last few tenths on the track, compared with the most expensive one
I have some points of comparison, as I've owned the 2004 Yamaha R1, the 2003 GSX-R 1000 and the 2002 CBR 954 (all French standards)

Indeed, very pretty, magnificent colors, but the engine is very linear and that's the big negative point. Honda is releasing a replica color model, and we might have expected a somewhat reworked engine, but it's nothing of the sort! Performance-wise, it's the most disappointing of the 2005 1000cc hypersport models. The GSX-R 1000 is the best value, but I'm waiting to see what the new ZX-10R has to offer
So I'm keeping my 600RR...

I changed my tires from Bridgestone BT 014 to Michelin Pilot Power

Thanks again to the person who replied by e-mail about the stickers. So the answer is as follows: the bike is delivered in the exact configuration of the photo on this site and a sheet of stickers is delivered with it. So it's up to the owner to decide whether or not to apply them to his machine. That's what removes any doubt about the different photos found on the various sites. This bike is truly magnificent! I think Honda will boost sales of the 1000 CBR in 2005 with this color. Rating : 5/5

i've just bought it and it will be available in March 2004. The Japanese from Honda are going to release an exact replica of the RC211V (205 hp V5 RCV engine, carbon fairing...) Identical to the launch of the NR 750 in 1992, the limited series will be valued at €45,000 and will be able to take on the DUCATI 999 desmosedici RR. So get ready to break the piggy bank...and bon voyage to all. Rating : 5/5

It's simply superb. I'm going to order it in addition to my XX.... As for the 150 Ex, I can confirm that it's true, but Honda is putting them back on in 2005 (Info Honda France). On the other hand, I'd be interested if any of you know if the French version has the Michelin stickers on the mudguard or not. Because I saw a model at Honda in Toyes in the Aube and just like the photo on this site the stickers were not there.... Thanks for the reply. Rating : 5/5
