presentation of the Z 750 2004

the Z 750 is the medium-displacement version of the Z 1000, which is a big hit in France. A true clone of its big sister, it uses many of the same components, adapted as needed. The engine is still that of the ZX-9R, but upgraded to 748 cm3 and equipped with dual-throttle injection. Farewell to the exhaust pipes: the original 4-in-2-in-4 line of the 1000 becomes a classic 4-in-1. The fork is traditional, with no adjustment options.

the little Z doesn't display any technological profligacy, and plays the price card but above all the design card: we find the 1000's (slightly modified) forkhead, the same engine size, the same frame design, as well as the instrumentation, the tank and the distinctive hull. With its thuggish looks, the Z 750 is sure to take on the commercial aspirations of its predecessor.

on the subject of simplicity, the Z 750 has to make do with simple black rims, losing the little touches of tuning such as the painted engine casing ends, and replacing the handsome aluminum handlebars with a steel model. The main thing remains: that thuggish face.

but there's no rebellion when it comes to handling. The saddle is at the right height, the legs slightly bent but not excessively, and the rider rests firmly on the handlebars. The advantage of 4 good bowls in the mill is the guarantee of a very appreciable suppleness, and that of the Z is exemplary. Injection is meticulous, free from inertia or sequential fuzziness, and proud of its fine-tuned regularity. The 7 & 1/2 block's trump card is its mid-range potential. From 4 to 8,000 rpm, the boiler really packs a punch. Measurements show that the Z 1,000 is more efficient, but the sensational side of this zone is absent on the big brother, and it's a real pleasure to enjoy this vigorous rev range on the 750. A very good point. Once you've crossed the 8,000 rpm mark, the Kawa signature comes to the fore: a healthy dose of potato and rage.

with the 100 hp law, this raging behavior at high revs will certainly be muffled, but the mid-range trunk should remain intact. The machine copes very well with this fieriness. It's easy to drive, with lightness and ease. The front drivetrain is lively, precise and largely adequate for most riders. It's not as rigorous as the 1000's, and is a bit lacking in hard use - but let's not forget that this is a nervous roadster, not "Fast Sébil's" machine.

Compteur de Kawasaki Z 750 comfort is not that of a GT, but remains decent. Wind pressure is bearable as long as you keep within the speed limits. After that, your arms will automatically calm you down. No ZX-6 RR brake shoes to slow down the turbulent Z: you don't find the bite of a Kawa sports bike, but the efficiency is largely present, and this is appreciated by young Z-ists who will have to get used to it - brutal braking in the wet calms you down! The rear is hardly convincing, and will have to limit itself to the role of retarder.

in the market of wild roadsters, Kawa presents a potentially lethal weapon. A nasty but appreciated pretty face, enthusiastic engine behavior, a 600 price tag for top-class performance... a Hornet and Fazer eater; and even a Z 1000, because the 750 is easier, more efficient and sensational. A zest of passion will do the rest.

Hello everyone. having owned the 750z from 2006, a 600 fazer early 2000, a 600 bandi and a hornet from 2012 for this category of motorcycle it is by far the one I preferred an engine of exemplary reliability with a position top level handling normal the hornet from 2012 is a real bike but the z750 has nothing to be ashamed of. too bad I never had the opportunity to compare with the 1000. Too bad I never had the chance to compare it with the 1000. Sincerely yours, motorcyclists! Rating : 4/5

Hi bikers,

I'm a beginner with a new license, and I'm the proud owner of a 2005 Z750.

I'll tell you what I think of the Z with my own little experience:

-Ease of driving
-Torquey engine (7.5 M/KG)
-Heavy motorcycle (220 KG)
-Good engine braking
-Very good braking with avia hoses
-Easy cornering
-If you don't pay attention to the speedometer, you'll soon be going over the speed limit
-2 riding modes (Promenade or Arsouille)
-Handlebar vibration and footrest
-Good range before reserve (approx. 250 KM)
-Comfort limited for 2 people, so opt for a comfort saddle
-Good acceleration (106 HP)
-Heavy on the handlebars, you feel the weight up front
-A bit heavy on the wrists
-Magnificent looks
-Seat height (815 mm) to be comfortable, you need to be at least 1M75 tall
-Soft, non-adjustable fork (change springs and oil)
-Good throttle response at all revs
-Rather large fuel tank (18 L)
-No wrist strap for 2 passengers
-Stable bike
-Magnificent noise
-Not at all pleasant on rough roads
-Forgives mistakes
-Ideal for beginners and advanced riders
-Small trunk for tool kit, yellow vest and chicane
-Lack of gear indicator
-Easy to find parts for the Z
-Easy overtaking

the z750 is aesthetically irreproachable but sorry gizmo if you've eaten a hornet it's probably with a rider who doesn't want it or a beginner. despite a smaller displacement the hornet is undoubtedly better on track and road than the manifique Z Rating : 5/5

I've been a motorcyclist for fifteen years, and have been the proud owner of a large number of sport bikes (CBR, ZXR, YZF, GSX-R, etc.) It was impossible for me to enjoy anything other than a sport bike, until the day I got my ass on a Z! Great, this bike is great, the engine is very well filled, the handling is good (if you're over 75 kgs, be careful on bad surfaces, it pumps badly in curves! ), it looks great, and in town it's a bike
There are a few drawbacks to this idyllic picture: the seat is really uncomfortable, the bike vibrates a lot in the footrests and handlebars, and there's that damn "neutral" between the 5 and the 6. For me, this bike is an excellent compromise for those who don't dare ride a sportbike or who don't have the budget
Finally, completely in agreement with Gizmo, it's very playful on the track and very easy to ride. Contrary to what yatchou's buffoon says, it's far from being ridiculous compared to the sportbikes, especially on slightly technical tracks!

slt to all the Zists... I've had my Z for 3 months now and I should normally have a 34hp clutch, but the clutch system is really rotten because it's a simple accelerator stop... therefore very dangerous for exiting bends when you go back on the throttle, you have no power so the bike falls on the inside of the bend which is very unpleasant, not to mention the performance: 140 on the flat and you quickly fall to 110 on the hill... once the clamp is removed you find yourself with a real fighter plane... it is true that this is a good quality titite, it has good acceleration when necessary (normal) you can also lean without being afraid, good road holding but comfort could be reviewed but remains well correct for young license it very good motorcycle but do not forget we can never be vigilant enough!

Hi to all Z enthusiasts! I've been a fan for almost 2 years now, and I think it's a great bike overall: fun, pretty, fun to ride... The biggest flaws are the fork, which quickly becomes soft (a hyperpro kit solves the problem), and the brakes, which are a little too tight (but that's my opinion), apart from that : NICKEL!!!
I'd like to pass on a little message to the asshole who calls himself YACHOU: Listen, you'd better butt out about the "Z750 spirit" as you put it, because what follows in your message is totally lacking in reasoning... and as for the hornet 600 orange, allow me to laugh, it's not really up to the level of the competition anymore and it would be welcome if honda would get its fingers out of the C... to finally release something new... well I'm not the only one to think that
I'll end by saying that for me, "pulling your weight" is also "biker spirit", as long as it's done intelligently. eh? who doesn't like the JoeBarTeam? well, that's what makes me laugh! we have to make the most of the little freedom we have left... Lighthouse call.

What a pleasure when I tried the Z! I read a bit of the comments and saw that most of the questions hadn't really been answered. In terms of handling at a standstill, it's pretty easy, and on the move, pretty darn easy! In fact, it handles without too much difficulty, pick-up is very good, and you don't need to rev the engine to get going again. The only hitch: there's a false neutral between 5th and 6th gear, so you only get caught once! Fuel consumption: I personally do 280Km on 15L, so do the math! And one last little rant: the "old bikers" are not wrong... And I'm not old yet, but I want to be! Bonne route a tous Rating : 5/5

Having owned a Z 750 N since the end of 2005 and been licensed since July 2005, I've recently started riding "the cold roads"
I don't have a lot of experience, so my comments will be very "amateur". Indeed, it's a machine that packs quite a punch for its class, according to my tests on machines like the FZ6, Hornet 600... The more the kms go by, the more I'm having a blast, the response is there, the handling is good, and the sound when you twist the handle is great. This bike is a real treat, with very good roadholding (I can't think of anything better) and great looks. I think what made me choose the Kawa was the looks, a better seat (as far as I'm concerned) and the slightly more torquey engine. A small flaw (is it the only one?...), it vibrates a little around 7 or 8000rpm. It's a great toy that can be put in the hands of beginners, but only if you keep a cool head and bear in mind that at the slightest sudden rotation of the throttle, the machine goes off at 1/4 turn!..

A nod to the creator of this very well-done site....

I've been riding my Z for 4 months now, and frankly, you get used to it very quickly. I was starting to throttle a bit too much (sorry, it's instinctive that way), so a buddy suggested I take it easy on the track, despite insufficient protection on the wheel but a suit on loan (a minimum). The machine pulls hard and tries to play the fool on the forgotten roads of the DDR, and then you wake up immediately because of the chaotic suspension. On the small circuit of Lezenne din ch'nord, the big bikes and the real riders have a field day. It's pure bliss to eat Hornet kigueulamor on the straight. Trajectories are taken instinctively, and you'll soon be out of knee-jerk after the 5th lap, thanks to the quality of the track surface and the soft rubber of the original tire. The bike makes a crazy sound when the engine explodes in a straight line, and so does the heart. Clearly, it's a bit soft on the track, but it's an experience worth repeating. Above all, this is a machine FOR FUN. It's also great fun in town, but cobblestones and rotten country roads should be avoided. Stay reasonable on the road and go for a license on the track with this marvel!

i'm only 22 but i agree completely with dalmats. i've been on a motorcycle since i was a kid and i've always been drawn to the biker spirit, but that of the beginning of the century, not the "i've got 100hp and i'll beat up anything with 2 wheels" spirit !!!!) to get back to the subject, i've got a Fazer and i wanted to change bike without necessarily changing displacement, so i took the tour first on a hornet 600 which disappointed me greatly. i agree it's magnificent but i got on it and i thought i was on a school bike, frankly disappointing. it lacks rigidity. then i went to see the Z 750 and there it was marvellous, at last lol well yes, i thought i was on my road bike because comfort-wise it's really the minimum, a spartan saddle, suspension that baffles you as soon as the road isn't new. otherwise aesthetically nothing to say, it's magnificent. as for the engine, it responds at any rpm, so you can get out of any situation without having to constantly change gear. fantastic noise. in conclusion, i'm selling my fazer, which is also on the site, and ordering my little Z
young biker, stay in the two-wheeled spirit, not the crazy spirit!

well, if that's the spirit of the z750, i'd feel bad about owning one...only young people who want to be the fastest and most virile! it sucks. anyway, the 1000 supersports will screw you. the hornet600 is more attractive, especially with its orange coloring, and it has nothing to do with the forde T from the beginning of the century at least... you don't buy a motorcycle to show off, and when you see the same beak everywhere, it loses a lot of its charm, but not from these peformances you'll tell me, you who don't think about it..

i'm 56 years old, I've been riding for 40 years, I've got all sorts of motorcycles kawa 1300 6 cylinders,1000 cbx 6 cylinders 900 bol d'or,gsxr,cbr,1000yzf and so on.i'm going to buy the 750z but not to run over those who can't afford it nor to take the piss out of the gends who have less horsepower, but for my own pleasure. When I hear certain comments from little kids and clowns who think they're bikers when it's sunny and who put the handlebars in the corner to impress their sweethearts, I'm disgusted. Where's the passion for motorcycling or the pleasure of riding at a time when the government is making mincemeat of bikers by trying to take one to beat up on the other, you sandbox biker babes, come back down to earth and rebuild the biker spirit.all set, i tried this famous z750 not much to say except that the comfort of the saddle is limited, it jumps on rough roads, be careful on wet roads, an abs would be welcome, no center stand, too bad, i find the gearbox less precise than they say under 1m70, and moreover, beginners be careful when stopping, look for the pavements lol!! otherwise a very nice bike to live with if you take care of it and keep it for a while it's not a pair of pants you throw away because it's out of fashion.go to the headlight call "AUX MOTARDS" and bikers they'll recognize themselves. a very easy bike to corner, a real bike, the footbraces a little high but I understood why in the corners. the most beautiful thing on this bike is the throttle change on the exit, really on a net!
it almost brought a tear to my eye
unsurprisingly high braking performance, very firm suspension, good for attacking, but beware of comfort...a bike that's possible for a beginner, REASONABLE WITH THE HANDLE!...and who's at least 1.70m tall, or has a leg length of 82cm.
Rating : 5/5
more seriously, i rode it in the afternoon with the seat for 1.70m, the toes touching with difficulty on both sides, a fairly upright position, the footbraces a little high for my taste but i understood why a little later in the curves. the braking was biting and easy to dose. the best thing about this bike is the throttle change, really on the edge! but when you accelerate, be really careful, the 110hp make you slide, it sends you off hard. a bike that's very easy to ride, even for beginners, and can be ridden with the handle!!!!!!!mai is the only condition. the gearbox is a little dry, but it's precise when you're looking for neutral at a red light. the suspensions are very firm, good for attacking, but be careful of comfort. a real bike in the corners

I've had a Z750 for 1 year. it's a very good machine: very easy to handle (the more it turns, the more fun you have), not very tall (I'm 1m75 tall and my feet are flat on the ground), very good sensations even at resonable speeds, a great toy, not very expensive, nothing to do with a Hornett (in the revs all the time), Bandit (linear engine without great acceleration), it has quite a lot of torque for a 750 (at 4000rpm you accelerate and it goes). Very powerful engine, I wouldn't recommend it for a first-time rider or a young license holder. Good riding to all and no need to ride at 200 to have fun. Rating : 5/5
