presentation of the ZX-6 R 636 Performance 2020

Not many 600 sportbikes have been sold for some time now. All the more reason to appreciate the fact that Kawasaki still offers one of the few survivors of this once-popular segment.

although forbidden for competition, the ZX-6R is a great companion on the racetrack and even on the road, and is available in a Performance version. Not to slam the big time, but to offer a sportier feel.

kawa's powerplants have a lot to offer - and the 636 shows it here with its Akrapovic exhaust system. All carbon, it doesn't add much power, but it's much lighter than the original unit: weight gain: 2.9 kg - speed gain: 2 km/h ? - Gain in music: singing instead of moaning.
If you're looking for pure performance, you'll be better off with the S-K6SO7-ZC, capable of making the 4-cylinder spit out an extra 8 hp.

protectors are fitted around the fuel tank to protect it from unwanted friction. Finally, the rear end gains in style with the installation of a seat cover. So, the ZX-636R is ready... not for battle, but for sport.

with an engine designed to be fuller than a "pure SuperSport", the 636 offers some of the best fun in the category. Or rather, the most versatile character. An R6 is more hysterical (once you've got your breath back). As for the F3 675, it charms with its Italian growl.
With the Performance package, the price rises accordingly, but remains lower than that of its direct rivals.

French Zx6r 2019 Model 2019
Positive: I've owned a 2019 Zx6r for 8 months (4000km on board), and I'm very satisfied with the bike, unbeatable value for money! Engine-wise, it's more like a Gsxr 750 than a simple, very hollow 600, the bike is easy to ride, the chassis is sound, pleasantly surprised by the braking, even with the standard rubber hoses, no reliability problems, and on top of that, very nice standard options such as Traction Control or shifter up. On a more track-oriented choice, I might have taken an r6, but for road use, it's the right choice. What's more, the gearbox's shorter standard length allows you to enter hairpins in 2nd or even 3rd gear, and get off without a hitch. the engine's smoothness is exemplary

Negative: you can criticize it for lacking that little something that makes the difference, like the gusto of a V4, the aesthetics of a Panigale, the rage of an s1000rr... but it doesn't have that pretension either, and then for the price... You can't objectively say that's a real negative

Anyway, go and try it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed, and think about the best thing you could buy new at €11,800... not much in my opinion :)

Formidable
Excellent machine. Very light, the performance pack gives it its beautiful akra sound. Great braking. Very healthy, quick to pick up. Riding position not excessive at all (you're not just on your wrists!) Good protection. And great looks. Thanks Kawa! Rating : 5/5
