presentation of the Ninja 1000 ZX-10RR WSBK-Edition 2024
Kawasaki Germany has indulged in a little fun with this limited edition ZX-10RR, dubbed WSBK Limited Edition. With its wartime colors, it's easy to mistake it for the standard ZX-10R (KRT replica color scheme). Have the Teutons transplanted the fairing from one to the other?
Absolutely not. The guys at Kawa took ten ZX-10RR Performance models and entrusted the design directly to the race team, inviting them to work at the importer's Friedrichsdorf headquarters. The result is a design that's as close as possible to the racing machine. All that's missing is the driver's number...
Which each owner can choose from two possibilities. Kawasaki supplies an exclusive box with a set of stickers for two numbers: either Jonathan Rea's 65, or Alex Lowes' 22.
Fortunately, that's not all the box contains. The package also includes two certificates of authenticity signed by official WSBK riders Rea and Lowes, a personalized key ring, a glass parallelepiped with a laser-engraved ZX-10R, and finally an i-clip.
Combining the RR and Performance extensions, this hypersport benefits from the racing-ready engine block with its special Pankl connecting rods and pistons, as well as its specific camshafts.
The 4-cylinder also benefits from improved breathing. As a 2024 model, it benefits from new intake manifold technology. The V.A.I. modifies their length to improve filling. Circuit use only - Kawasaki deactivates it as standard. You need to buy racing parts to put it into operation.

This limited edition costs 2,400 euros more than the ZX-10RR Performance. For this price, the 10 German fans will get the true look of the racing wheel. It's not quite as close technically (as Yam is with its R1 GYTR Pro, 5 times more expensive); but if you erase the few seconds' difference on the stopwatch, you'll believe it!
