What about a 55kg passenger?
French Model 2025
I'm 64 years old. I'm going to spend my retirement in Tunisia. I'm looking for a motorcycle like this one. I'm hesitating with the voge dsx 625. I rode without a license for a while in the 80s on a 125 enduro. I'm going to do my license now A2 yes girl. No worries. The fac 625 is top but I'm afraid that at 2 it lacks power. As I said, I'll be in Tunisia. I'll be riding on roads (including freeways) as well as bad roads + beach + desert sand and stones. I'm going to equip it with soft luggage for the trips. Don't forget that I'll be doing this most of the time with my passenger. I also have the cf moto 700 mt or the cf moto 800 explorer explorer in my sights. But thinking about it makes me hesitate between the voge 625 or the kove 800. Agility, weight, power for 2, handling: very important to me.
Let me know what you think. Am I out of my depth?

Yes, you're way off the mark, because there's an arena that's still being dethroned, called the Ténéré 700. Otherwise, it's surely the second-best trail in your program. Rating : 4/5
French Model 2025
I've had a 230 kg KTM 990 Adventure with aluminium hoops and panniers (empty) for 15 years. I've had enduro bikes in Africa: XR 600, Husky 610, XR650, KTM exc 450 and a Yam XT 660 R in Spain.
At 69, I'm no longer going to be doing hardcore enduro and I was thinking of the KTM 690, but the KOVE 800 X Pro, weighing 171 kg dry, like the Yam XT 660 but with twice the power, seems to me the ideal compromise.

French Model 2025
4000km with mine in 6 months (model 2024 imported from Europe) and pure happiness: light, agile, quick, with a strong character, I think I've found my five-legged sheep. Equally at home on the ring road or the TÊT, the freeway or the road to the Grandes Alpes, and ready to go far (Iceland? Morocco? Greece?). And if you drop it, you can pick it up again... even several times. When the going gets tough, the low weight makes all the difference. Well-balanced motorcycle, sitting position that suits me (not too high, well "in the bike" - 1m81), and standing position perfect for me. Yes, the engine is snappy, but no jerks felt here. Very reasonable fuel consumption at 4.3l in suburban/off-road light (cool riding). 450 km on a full tank, so you can cruise around without a second thought! Skilful and easy on trail/enduro TET-style programs, and travel (even as a duo). Firm suspensions that wobble a little on small shocks, but respond well on the road and off-road (so consistent with the program!): I haven't touched them, but by fine-tuning the settings we can certainly further optimize them. Nothing to say about quality, but the engine shoe needs to be changed if you want to tackle the rocks without any qualms. A little electronics, but not too much, and well thought-out. In my opinion, screws and bolts should not be over-torqued, but they haven't failed so far. Nice screen, too bad you can't (currently?) simply mirror your favorite apps to navigate. If I had to have only one bike, both versatile and very good in many areas, I'd keep my KOVE 800X Pro: for me, it's back to the very spirit of trail riding. For those aiming for more exclusive off-road use, the Rally should be a formidable weapon, with 20kg less weight (but also less versatility...). If someone had told me just 2 years ago that I'd be buying a Chinese bike, I'd have laughed... but this generation of newcomers marks, in my opinion, a turning point in the sector. And the past is full of these "new entrants" whom nobody believed in, and who revolutionized the market (to our great delight). I'm (perhaps) taking a risk on reliability, but I look after my frames and maintain them myself, so I take responsibility and keep an eye on them. So far, so good... the banana I get every day when I turn the ignition key :-) Rating : 5/5

I'm not a big fan of Chinese bikes, but at last we've got an interesting weight (as well as price)! I'd try it out, but you'd still have to find a motorcycle store that makes the brand! Rating : 4/5

I tested one this afternoon at Piboules Racing near Aix-en-Provence, and I can tell you that the Japanese are on a roll, at this price and with a bike that's flawless out of the box, they're going to make a killing! Rating : 5/5
