from 2007 to 2024Tuono Factory - gold ignites on fire.
Nervous and atypical from the outset, the Aprilia Tuono waited until its second generation before being released as a Factory version. It was fitted with Öhlins suspension, forged aluminum wheels and a whole range of carbon parts. The engine also boasts a little more horsepower than the standard model.
In 2011, Le tuono switches to V4 and puts the Factory version on hold. We'll have to wait another 4 years to see it back on the ebullient Ialien roadster. Still Öhlins, but not as many bonus parts. Just a wider rear tire. With a new engine, the bike goes from 139 to 175 hp. It's also a technical coup against the RSV4: the engine's displacement swells to 1077 cm3. The sportbike would later become emancipated in size.
In 2017, the Tuono gets stronger electronics and improved braking (M50 calipers + 330 mm disc).
In 2019, suspension becomes electronic.
2021 is the year of the relift, with the appearance of integrated winglets. For the first time, the Tuono models are differentiated in their objectives: the Standard adopts almost road/comfort equipment, while the Factory retains all its sportiness. Both models receive a new swingarm and even more electronics.
The Tuono V4 gains displacement again in 2025, with 1099 cm3. Horsepower increases by 5. The design has been reworked (slightly) and the electronics have been re-adapted.
