What's changing in 2012

for Harley-Davidson, 2012 was a rather chilly year, though a little more nervous than 2011, which was only moderately enthusiastic. New models include the interesting Switchback with its Touring look. Already presented in early 2011, the Blackline enhances the Softail range, but remains the only model in this family to keep the Twin Cam 96. All the others switch to the 103 with its 1690 cm3 displacement. Dynas in the U.S. also switch to 103, but for France, the 96 will continue to officiate in this family. VRSCs sport commemorative badges to celebrate 10 years of the V-ROD. The V-ROD is back in its 10th Anniversary version, and the Night-Rod Special is slightly reworked. The Rocker C disappears from the catalog, while the Electra Glide Ultra Classic returns to Touring. The CVO Road Glide Ultra is replaced by the CVO Road Glide Custom. There are also fewer colors for each model, and a few price cuts, but mainly increases ranging from minimal to spectacular. The beginning of the year sees the presentation of the bobber-style Softail Slim and a sparkling Sportster Seventy-Two
