presentation of the 750 V7 III Racer 10th Anniversary 2020
As the name of this special series suggests, it's been 10 years since the Guzzi V7 Racer first showed its face. It made a big impression back then. All chrome, all shine, with that red frame, number plates and half-handlebars to catch the rider's hands, the bike played on personalization and provocation.
Now in its3rd version, the V7 has not aged a day. The Cafra version celebrates its first decade with this more distinctive edition. At the forefront is the adoption of an old-fashioned fork head. A sporty touch that only protects the nose and the meters, but what a look!
Over time, the Italian had lost some of its shine, letting black invade its exhausts, engine and certain trim parts. The tank, meanwhile, had taken on a satin veil to sprinkle its shine, and the 10th anniversary restored its shiny chrome on the saddlebag.
The n°7 is also back, but not the anodizing on the wheel hubs. The bike gains handlebar-mounted mirrors, red stitching on the seat, a shortened rear mudguard, all-LED lights and passenger footrests.

For the occasion, we'd have liked to see a bit of madness, like the grafting of the V85 TT engine. More horsepower would have looked good on the sportiest V7. We'll have to make do with the 52 horsepower of the 744 cm3. Not much power, but traction control (adjustable on 2 levels and deactivatable) and the charm of Mandello's mechanicals. As an option, you can connect your smartphone to the V7 with the MIA multimedia platform. Finally, this unobtrusive machine, which is just as well, can be throttled up to A2.
