presentation of the 750 GSX-R 2001

so why are manufacturers abandoning the premier class? Simple, and terrible for the 750s. The 600s are spitting out more and more horsepower (120 for the R6), and the 1000s are becoming as light as ballerinas (170 kgs for the 900 CBR). Suzuki doesn't care. The creator of the GSX-R myth, the 7 & 1/2 has been thoroughly redesigned to shake things up. stage 1: diet. The bike is 13 kg lighter - 8 kg on the chassis, 5 kg on the engine. The engineers put their brains to the test. Lighter parts, new injection, increased compression ratio and... 141 hp output! A fabulous herd of horses to propel a machine that has become lighter than an R6 (the slimmest of the 600s). Thanks to the injection, the boiler is really full in the low and mid-range for a motorization of this displacement. After that, the power is magnificent, and the sound is insane right up to the ignition switch. The controls, like the gearbox, are delightful. A great deal of work has also gone into agility. The rear tire drops to 180 and the chassis has been shortened to bring the engine forward. Wheelbase and swingarm have been lengthened to enhance stability. The larger fork gains in travel, and the shock absorber and brakes have been lightened (as have all the bike's components, in fact). As a result, the GSX-R 750 has become the tool for all those who want to make a mess of things on the racetrack. It has twice won the Masterbike organized by the European press. And what's even more astonishing is that it's not as exclusive on the road as you might think. Comfort and protection are on a par with a certain Kawa ZX-6R. The only real flaw (in the Suzuki family) is the (very powerful) brakes, which lack bite.

Very good bike, which takes you to work during the week and to the track at the weekend. my meter/90 and my 100kg are at ease. this is my 35th bike and my 15th gsxr. Rating : 5/5
Excellent !
I've got it in yellow, and a lot of people turn around with its sporty lines and the sound of the non-approved CARBON Force :-) It's a great bike, fast and agile, a real pleasure to look at and ride, a real toy! I'm really happy with it! Rating : 5/5

A sporty car that's great fun to drive. Phenomenal performance. Exemplary handling. Nothing to complain about. For me, a superb motorcycle not to be put in everyone's hands. Rating : 5/5

French Nico33 Model 2000
In its free version, it's a bargain. 280 speedometer and not at full throttle for lack of space... Comfort is really nice for a sports bike. You can really hit the milestones with this bike without busting a gut... But you have to keep the speed down if you don't want to slacken your wrists (160 km/h). This bike has reconciled me with sports bikes. I use it regularly on the road and occasionally on the track. What happiness! Rating : 5/5
French stephane Model 2000
140hp and only 278km/h,it's just..
mine is also in full and it took 304km/h....sa remains the most beautiful toy I've ever had, easy to handle, pleasant to drive even at low revs and plenty of power when you need it.....@+

French Chnordix Model 2000
Having just bought this devil of a bike and already put 1500 kms on it, I'm delighted to say that it really works. Over 6,000 revs, it pushes all the time, and hard at 10,000 revs. It's easy to get used to, and coming from bigger machines, it didn't take long to get used to it. It's easy to get used to, coming from a bigger machine, and you quickly get used to it, too. Rating : 5/5
French dockholida Model 2000
the best road sport machine, powerful, light, easy to fit and affordable, it's amazingly efficient!!!! Rating : 5/5
French Pierreusa Model 2000
A pure atomic bomb in full power version! The front brake's slight lack of bite is an advantage on slippery surfaces. Comfortable seat for a super-sporty bike, but the position is tiring at low speeds, which is not the 750's cup of tea. The only regret is that you have to go fast to have fun. The gearbox is a model of ease, the torque sufficient, and the fact that the second gear takes you to prison without going through the starting gate doesn't encourage you to use it! Easy, docile, a beginner could drive it... under 7000, because after that it's a blast with 140hp! Less frenetic than the 1000, more serious than the 600, the 750 is the ideal compromise! Rating : 5/5
