With no concessions: the duo, the freeway and the secondary roads with dubious surfaces will take you to purgatory. It's pure sport! Once set just right, the suspension proves comfortable but above all highly effective. Once up to speed, the mill pushes so hard that the front end jiggles more than it should on the rougher roads. It's all about knife-edge trajectories and sharp angles, and don't be afraid to put your knee out and wiggle to make the machine turn. The R6 is more than just a tool: it's a true pistarde that's a real pleasure to ride.

Good evening,

I have a Yamaha r6 1999 a few days ago I was driving on the highway and I had a total engine cut and I wanted to start but no way I stopped a few minutes then I start ok. I thought it was the fuel pump, I changed it but it wasn't that, I know it could be the electronics.... I wanted to know if anyone had had this problem???

for these years there is a sleeve per carburettor which blocks the complete opening of the butterfly,
once cut the throttle opens to its maximum it is in full

mine is in full, the "bearings" are appreciable according to the type of driving 6000tr

a rail according to the panard but watch out for trajectory errors
big brakes are a bit lacking at low revs
in short, a good machine not to be put in every hand

a real cannonball from 8000rpm, below that the torque leaves something to be desired! great looks compared to a cbr or a gsxr, the body is a bit stiff but on the track there's nothing better for a sports car! beginners be careful above 8000rpm. exceptional braking, at this level it's a success! I've just sold (with some regret) my 2001 R6. I found it too ill-suited to the road, with handlebars that didn't respond well to heavy acceleration. Otherwise great bike, great looks, and I had a micron nh that hummed very well too... Still a great bike, but much better suited to the track! Bonne route ami(e)s motard(e)s. V Rating : 5/5

exceptional bike at high revs, over 10000 rpm, a real ball. The only slight problem is that the front end is too soft and the wheel is always in the air due to its 16500 rpm (18 in the red)
exeptionnelle sur circuit ( un régal a lédenon , circuit fait pour cette moto si l'on reste dans les tours )
the 600 gsxr , I eat it up, especially in roadholding and cornering with pirelli semi slic tires ( smooth edges ), the homologated tire but be careful in the rain , it doesn't like white stripes
