presentation of the 750 GSX-R 2010

a raptor's beak, a hawk's silhouette in flight - that's the look of the new GSX-Rs. A symbolism that sums up the whole philosophy of Suzuki's 750 sport bike: the voracity (of the track) and performance of the world's fastest bird.

beautiful? Always! Just a little more aggressive than before. With this new face, the machine is even more determined and intimidating. Under the wings of the optic, the SRAD air intakes have been moved even closer together to gobble up air even more efficiently. Gone are the days of side vents - gone are the days of central tunnels. Suzuki still resists the trend for air intakes in the middle of the front, and continues to force air through ducts running through the side members. The competition, meanwhile, is increasingly using the steering column airflow technique. But Suz remains true to form.

it's not just the front end that has been reworked. The rear end has also been modernized, with magnificent taillights... disturbingly similar to those on an MV-Agusta F4. The side panels are less pampered, evolving with subtlety. A nice touch: depending on the design, the R logo is either traditional red, or embossed in silver.

Suzuki 750 GSX-R 2010 - 1Suzuki 750 GSX-R 2010 - 1

like the 600 GSX-R, the 7? is getting a stylistic and (above all) technical update for 2008. If this perpetual quest for improvement is fully justified for Supersport, it may seem less interesting for this displacement, former representative of Superbike and now eclipsed by the overpowering and prestigious 1000 cc bikes. But... Suzuki hasn't forgotten that in the hearts of enthusiasts, the 750 GSX-R is THE SPORTSMAN par excellence, the one that turned the world upside down in 1985, a legend deserving of all our attention. And on the road, it's certainly the best compromise between performance and usability.

for several years now, the GSX-R 750 has been the leading example in its class, regularly benefiting from all the family's technological innovations to remain a sports queen with fearsome performanceSUZUKI 750 GSX-Rperformance. There's only one thing the mid-range Gex regrets in its evolution: 2 kg more on the scales. Anti-pollution standards take the wind out of your sails, forcing you to increase the size of your exhausts and adding weight. Gone are the MotoGP-style short pipes - the 750, like the 600, inherits an imposing appendage with a very... Yes, well, as usual, like it or not. Get used to it! Every manufacturer has his own personal fantasy. But if this increase in exhaust can save all the hard work of the engine-makers, there's little reason to complain. Especially if the mechanical improvements raise the spirited 4-cylinder engine's output above the current 150 hp.

although this block has the same dimensions as before - 749 cm3, 76 mm bore and 48.7 mm stroke - its racing pace will evolve. While the red zone is still set at 15,000 rpm, the arrival of the nags can now be channelled with the help of S-DMS, the system that allows you to select one of the 3 available mappings. This little extra is now standard on the entire GSX-R range, from the 600 to the 1300. In the realm of electronic chips, the 32-bit processor that controls the heart of the machine is now backed up by 1 megabyte of ROM memory.

and that's not the only "little attention to detail" that goes into the 750: it's equipped like a big one, with multiple performance enhancers. Fuel supply is now provided by 2 injection manifolds, i.e. 8 injectors. The mixture passes through titanium valves controlled by new hollow camshafts. Between the cylinders, the pressure-balancing holes have been enlarged by 2 mm (from 39 to 41).
As a worthy descendant of the Superbikes, the GSX-R 750 is equipped with the utmost care: braking is, of course, entirely radial, the instrument panel is equipped with a shiflight, an engaged gear indicator and displays the chosen mapping mode, gear ratios are very close together, the swingarm is more than imposing, footrests are adjustable, and the chassis follows the trend towards simplification and optimized mass centering.

the frame is composed of 5 elements. The manufacturer claims improved rigidity and reduced weight. The front end featuresSUZUKI 750 GSX-Rnearby, the braking system is entrusted to a 17 mm radial master cylinder, pushing the DOT towards a 4-piston radial unit. The calipers contain 4 pistons each, but of different sizes: 30 and 32 mm. The shock absorber and fork are of course fully adjustable, with 2 compression speeds.
With all this equipment, the GSX-R 750 has nothing to envy from its cousins in the higher category

Proud, audacious, proud and mischievous, the Suzuki GSX-R 750 has stood the test of time, embracing the best of evolution. For its 23rd birthday, the Hammamatsu factory gave it the best it had to offer, on condition that it shared it with its little 600 sister. The last representative of a legendary era is determined to carry her honor to the end.

French Model 2010
Happy owner of this bike, it's a top not to be put in every hand. The ease of a 600 with the spirit of a 1000. I don't know if I'll ever be able to part with it.... Rating : 5/5
French SalvaGex Model 2009
I'm lucky enough to ride it on the track. It's perfect, with the liveliness of a 600 and a killer engine, and with a line, filter and injection adjustment, it's right up there with the 1000s! This 750 engine is simply the best. Rating : 5/5
French Nolanator Model 2008

French Wooki Model 2008
First real sportbike after several different models: hornet 600, 690sm, sv1000s, 950adv, 950sm... and I'm delighted with its capabilities! Pure joy and an ideal compromise between touring and racing ... if you can call it a compromise when faced with a racing legend. Despite its age, it's a beast to welcome without hesitation! Rating : 5/5

The competitor of the Ducati 848 ... Rating : 4/5
French leobgood Model 2008
personally i went to see it today at the dealership, and.......C EST LE COUP DE FOUDRE it's sublime, easy to handle, torquey, yummy, too bad i don't have the means. sniffff... Rating : 5/5
French Ducat Model 2008
Very nice machine, with all these compliments I'm going to take the liberty of making one criticism
I think it's a shame that for a 2008 model, it doesn't have a hydraulic clutch like its big sister, the 1000. After that, it's a matter of taste, but more designer brake and clutch levers, or at least black anodized ones, would be welcome
Otherwise, I'm ready to give in, but I live on Reunion Island and here it's 15,900€ that you have to pay, and 16,800€ for the 1000
Rating : 5/5
French Sacrée Ste Model 2008
Very good between a 600 and a 1000. I really have to try it !!! Rating : 5/5
French riri Model 2008
pfiou !!! agree with Dav's comment, owner of a 1000 K6 my dealer at the time didn't have any more 750 in stock so I fell back on the used 1000 he had (too much pressure to wait) and I'm super happy with it, but with such a new thing I think I should have waited 6 months more, ma che bella machina, mama mia !!!! Rating : 5/5
Ever more beautiful and ever more aggressive... this gex will turn heads, starting with mine. How could I resist this face? The rear end is sublime (no more personal indicators to replace the original ones, this is real styling work), and Suzuk has put in a big cartridge (which will be replaced by many to give the 750 a voice). The colors are superb, for both the 600 and the 750. I can't wait to see this gex and try it out!!!! Rating : 5/5
