presentation of the DR 125 SM 2011

while on the one hand, the supermotard is becoming huge, full of watts and imposing with machines like the new KTM 990 Supermoto or the Ducati 1100 Hypermotard, on the other hand, some manufacturers are thinking of the young (or not so young) who want to discover the Supermot. So, what better than a light, not too violent 125 to introduce you to the art of getting your foot out in the bends...!

Suzuki DR 125 SM 2011 - 1Suzuki DR 125 SM 2011 - 1

suzuki brought its DR out of the closet, gave it a little cosmetic surgery, fitted it with 17" road tires on spoked rims, and adapted its good old air-cooled mono to the latest tastes. Fuel injection has been fitted to the 124 cc twin-valve, for better pollution control and greater flexibility. We didn't just add an injector to face 2008: a process called SJCS injects oil onto the walls below the piston for better cooling. A balancer has also been added to limit vibration.

power will be just a little short of what's needed to give this DR 125 SM a rough ride... But a good ten horsepower with only 121 kg dry weight to throw around, should make it possible to quickly try out all sorts of styling tricks without too much risk of getting hurt. 2 brake discs (250 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear) will allow for adequate braking or nice little crosses (not right away - take it easy first). The Yamaha XT-X 125 has just found someone to talk to. Watch out, the young wolves are out with their claws.

Dr sm 125 motorcycle from 2010 how can I make it legal with the akrapovic pot from the same period... if it's no longer legal? Rating : 4/5
French hugo Model 2013
frankly, I bought it not long ago but I've really been on it because it's quite heavy for the little horsepower available ... a good point because it's very supple and comfortable but its fuel-injected engine really has nothing going for it ... no customization for the youngsters... nothing to do with the yamaha wr 125 x ... and the mixed tires are useless as they don't grip on the trails...

Superb motorcycle I bought new in May 2013, I made ballads motorcycles new and old we were 60 motorcycles all cubes confused, I was in duo with my wife and on the road I was not ridiculous at all, good speed, manageable, good braking, finally it's a machine that I recommend to all young and old. I'm 50 and I've always had a 125cm3. Bonne route les Bikers. Rating : 5/5

Hello, I have a drsm 125 from 2010. the only thing missing is an original metal luggage rack and a clock. For the luggage rack there are adapters at maxxess
If not, it's still a good value bike, with an engine that's a bit old but reliable. For me it's enough, especially in May 2010 when I bought it new at 2190 euros. Error published by suzuki france in 125 magazine

Suzuki's neglected 125 motorcycle range, but less so than the downright lamentable Kawa, the (albeit) old engine of this DR is pleasant with a good impression of torque, but limited in extension, it also equips the Van Van, a very nice bike from all points of view. Both are still too expensive despite the price cut, this DR sm in particular, with its slightly dull finish (tank), longing to one day meet up with its older sister DR trail, which could be better finished than before (sturdier frame and brakes worthy of the name!) and for an equivalent price. It was the best way to get started on the cheap. In the meantime, this sm will make a few youngsters happy (temporarily), thanks to its engine and its very nice chassis. Low fuel consumption and maximum pleasure. Score 3.5/5, a 14/20 despite everything. Rating : 3/5
super sympa sur les petite départemental, dommage qu'il manque quelques chevaux Rating : 5/5

it looks really cool this bike with its robust engine is one of my future choice (the model 2002 is much prettier and less delicate thanks to its carburetor engine)

voila
