presentation of the Tiger 900 GT Pro 2026
We don't need it, but it's so practical.... And then you want it. That's what's on your mind after you've tried a few options or accessories on a motorcycle. Bikers went a century without heated saddles and the world didn't end (with salted popcorn). And yet, once you've got your butt warmed up, it's hard to do without it in the coming winter conditions.
The Tiger GT Pro is there to satisfy your desire for comfort. The basic model is already well-equipped, so why take a look at the Pro version? Because, without the headache, you're signing up for a model that comes standard with an Up&Down shifter, electric shock preload adjustment from the dashboard, heated rider and passenger seats, tire pressure monitoring, backlit switches, center stand and a pair of additional headlights.
Is one more driving mode really useful? Not really, no. Except that once you've discovered that you can choose your mapping, traction control level, suspension hardness and ABS intervention type under a dedicated "Rider" Mode, "why not" turns into "it's nice, I'll keep it". All these little extras obviously add to the price, but you're now ready to take to the road in all seasons and under all conditions.
And with a velocity that's all-new for the Tiger 900. Phase II is 13% more powerful than the 2020 model. The three-cylinder now produces 108 horsepower and some 9.2 mkg of torque. It even consumes less fuel. Up to 9% less, according to Triumph. In short, it's all for the better. Except for the young licence holders who want this machine: it's no longer A2 compatible.
They can be counted on the fingers of one hand. But there's no need to fret. Triumph offers the 660 and 850 Tiger Sport for this audience.
The new-generation Tiger GT also features slightly reworked cheeks and shoulders, a flatter rider's seat with more room, a new instrument panel (still 7 inches) with a display borrowed from the 1200 Tiger, handlebars better insulated from vibration and the "My Triumph" connectivity system.

whether GT or GT Pro, the 900 Tiger's chassis and on-board living conditions are seamless. Adjustable seat and bubble, Marzocchi suspensions with many settings, serious Brembo brakes with Stylema calipers, cornering ABS and 320 mm discs, 5 riding modes (Road - Sport - Off-Road - Rain - Customizable), 19" and 17" trail wheels, anti-dribble clutch and 20 liters of benzine for long stages.
The Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro improves on its predecessor. No upheaval or risk-taking, but the efforts needed to counter the competition and confirm its status as a premium mid-size trail bike. The power is there, the equipment is there, and so is the stab in the wallet. But the competition is just as strong.
