presentation of the 900 Bonneville T 100 2026

Timeless! Retro throughout, yet never behind the pace of modernity. A small nod that says it all: the Bonneville's headlight is switching to LEDs in 2026, enhanced with a daytime running light signature. Technical and chic. Triumph is also adding two riding modes, Rain and Road, as well as an inertial measurement unit. With this, its ABS is optimized for cornering. Cruise control is added to the options.

Without losing a shred of its charm and identity, the T100 is slowly improving. When were its last tweaks?

When Triumph has modernized its Classic range, so that (virtually) every one of them can continue its career despite the standards. In the case of the Bonnie T100, the upgrade went hand in hand with a serious increase in power. It's the same increase that was applied to the Street Twin in 2019.

Triumph 900 Bonneville T 100 2026 - 1Triumph 900 Bonneville T 100 2026 - 1

Technically, this means a gain of 10 hp for a total of 65 horsepower. As a result, the Bonneville is back to almost the same watts it had before its major redesign in 2017. Add to this its more copious torque than theprevious generation at 865 cm3, a red zone set back by 500 rpm, more boot space from halfway up the rev counter to the high revs , and you get a 900 with a boot of a different kind. A number of technical improvements have reduced weight and improved handling. The twin retains its 8.2 mkg, now located a little higher up.

Well, the fork gaiters have disappeared, the metallic hue of the crankcases is hidden behind black, and the chrome on the rims has been lost... In return, the Triumph has lost 4 kilos, improved its braking, revised the fork specs with new cartridges for greater efficiency, refined its instrumentation, and added heel guards.
Like the other machines in this segment, more retro than neo, the Englishwoman lets the charm do the work. Time flies, but the idea endures.

Triumph 900 Bonneville T 100 the "little" Bonnie perpetuates the spirit and style of the original 1959 model. It leaves it to the T120 to offer more torque, more luxury, and the price that goes with it. Its trick is to be more accessible, both financially and mechanically. Not everyone wants a big twin; you can legitimately appreciate reasonable power, where the right wrist can be lively without fear of overflow. Or you can simply take it easy.

Less chunky perhaps, but far from out of date in terms of technology. It borrows a whole host of technologies from its big T120 sister, also shared with the Street Twin, such as liquid cooling, ride-by-wire, ABS, traction control, assisted clutch, USB socket, coded immobilizer, etc....

Less powerful but more svelte, the T100 is more playful than the Bonnie 1200. It's lighter (8 kilos less), with a lower seat and shorter wheelbase and tail. The machine may be less vigorous, but it's more lively and agile.
This T 100 is as eager for nostalgia as it is for accessories. 117 references are waiting on the shelves. However, certain elements, not available as options, will remain the privilege of the 1200: the 6-speed gearbox and dual fuel injection maps. Every Bonneville has its own niche: a nut walk or a bear hunt.

French Ttchad Model 2025
I have a mecatwin carburetor bought new in 2009 from F.Depoisier. A few extra watts and torque, a real sound, a magnificent custom paint job... Not a fart to play with. I often do Dijon --》 Narbonne in one go, mixing departmental roads and freeways. A real treat. I've ridden it in Austria: a real pleasure. Simple bike, efficient on bends. Ultra-reliable: never a problem. Inexpensive maintenance (I do it myself). Just use SP98 and put premium oil in the boiler. I've been through yam, suz, Ducat, Bm, and now it's been 16 years and I'm keeping it. Rating : 5/5
Super moto !!
As the proud owner of a Triumoh t100 Icon edition, it's a real pleasure to ride. Very responsive, reassuring, very pleasant ergonomics. I'm 1.63m tall and my feet touch the ground. At 45kg, I don't feel the weight of the bike when I'm riding. The sound is enchanting. The only downside is that the sound is still too loud for my eardrums. 15db less would be the grail. Améliorations,
French Lamifritz Model 2025
Welcome the extra 10 hp, personally I ride a 2017 900 Bonneville, still a substantial weight. A motorcycle with character, vintage style with current technology, charm and bewitching music. Rating : 4/5
Fabuleuse !
French Alexou Model 2022
Incomparable sound, the smoothest engine, lots of torque, easy to ride, even better than a bike, which I loved riding on Sundays. For my 1m70, I'm perfectly on it with my feet flat on the ground, even after 3-4 hours on the road, and I've never had any back or wrist pain (unlike others I've had). More than once, I've been told at the stop sign, or by neighbors, how beautiful it is! All shiny chrome. I just love it.
As for the tires, they need to be changed right away. I replaced them with Metzeler Roadtec 1s, which I highly recommend, including the installation of a small bubble (ordered on Amazon!)

la moto idéale pour moi
French remyr Model 2020
170m, top saddle height! riding comfort, precise and smooth gearbox, feeling of safety, great sound, perfect aesthetics... my ideal bike (Rémy 67 ans ) Rating : 5/5
Presque parfaite !
French Trinkill Model 2021
Fantastic gearbox, fun to ride, impeccable brakes. The only complaint would be the inner tubes, because once you puncture them, it's direct assistance! We've been together for 10,000 kms now (apart from 2 punctures), and I don't regret my choice. Rating : 5/5
French Triumphaliste Model 2022
Top speed in 47.5 = over 170, provided tires are well inflated... Rating : 5/5
French Triumphaliste Model 2021
More than 160 km/h in 47.5 for me: look for the error in the comments on the T100 of 2022 ...? Rating : 5/5
Idéale
French lgafrancis Model 2021
1m70 with two flat feet and plenty of torque. The t100 model 2021 is comfortable, has a nice sound and is intuitive to ride. In short, it's easy enough to suit my 50 years of 2-wheeling! Rating : 5/5
French Gleb le Magistral Model 2021
What a shame!... Many bikers are very sensitive to the aesthetics of the machine and the cru 2021 is really much less beautiful than the versions 2017 to 2020 ... It's night and day ( see the engine block ) !!! Rating : 2/5
French Cèdre Model 2019
...indeed: high torque, short length and the tires (slippery) should be changed as soon as possible. The front brake is more than average. Like many, I think, I had problems with the wiring harness (too short) and ended up having to replace the speedo. Best solution for brand lovers: opt directly for the T120. Rating : 4/5
French Imperialyunan Model 2019
Top marks, but after fitting progressive springs up front and Hagon nitro in the rear, and Brembo discs front and rear.
Impec engine full of torque.
Pirelli dangerous on asphalt joints and in the rain.
Perfect bike to customize, but far too expensive to start with - you can see that Triumph has been bought out by BMW.....for the price of one you get 2 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650......!!!!
Rating : 4/5
French T100fan Model 2019
Why 300â'¬ between 2018 and 2019? Does it sell too well...
Otherwise very pleasant to ride, nice sound, great U support, a few options added for me: center stand, luggage rack-passenger handle.
Rating : 4/5
French Atakin22bed Model 2019
Super-smooth engine at all revs, decent braking, noisy gearbox when shifting into 1st gear, low seat height, intuitive handling. Excellent finish: the pirelli phantom on my test bike isn't great: it sways on degraded surfaces and asphalt joints. But it's still an easy, pleasant bike, with an attractive finish Rating : 4/5
une question concernant l'échappement
French hautesserre Model 2017
Hello, why is the height of the exhaust staggered? No one at Triumph can answer my question! I have a Bonneville T 100 and I've done several motorcycle outings with groups. I don't see the difference in power! I'm 70 years old and I'm finally discovering motorcycle touring after many sport bikes! Rating : 4/5
Triumph T100 - 2019
French Marco57 Model 2017
Magnificent bike, incomparable style. The 55hp of power are not felt, thanks to more than respectable torque for a bike of this displacement. Rating : 5/5
French Stephane.t Model 2017
A very pleasant bike with good roadholding. Agile and respectable torque when you're responsible and reasonable. You can set the tires to the limit and turn the throttle all the way. It's a real eye-catcher on the street. Too bad I'm not that young anymore... 😀
