presentation of the 900 THRUXTON SE 2010
triumph's café-racer spirit can be savoured with the Thruxton, in the most nostalgic and delicious taste of the Classic that the brand also cultivates with its Bonneville and Scrambler models. In 2010, the British manufacturer's special series are multiplying ( Tiger, Speed Triple, Bonneville, Daytona in 2009...) to be completed by this Thruxton SE. This old-fashioned sports bike is covered in pearly white, highlighted by a frame painted entirely in red. A racing stripe in the same color runs through the machine, from the mini headstock to the rear cowling. Simply superb. Cristal White is a new color for Triumph, as is the red frame. As if to emphasize the Triumph dress, the engine is painted satin black. Nothing has changed mechanically or technically. The Thruxton retains its 865 cm3 vertical twin encased in a tubular steel frame. Its sixties look is rounded off by spoked wheels, megaphone-style exhausts and chrome mirrors at the end of the handlebars. The machine will be available in limited numbers - 80 units for France from May 2010 - at an almost reasonable extra cost.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 3 reviews
torque at low speeds propels me with gusto within the legal limit. A firm gearbox with no false neutral, comfort seems up to scratch, and I didn't feel any vibrations for a bike with 47,000 km on the clock. Used, the price seems reasonable for a bike of this build quality, a fine performance from Triumph. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Fred41
