presentation of the YZF-R46 600 2005
Are you a Rossi fan and swear by the R6? Yamaha has the new R46 for you. The manufacturer is offering a limited series of the 2005 R6 decorated by Rossi's designer, Drudi. Like the helmets of the six-time world champion, the sports bike's decoration features 2 sides: the right side in yellow with the sun on the fairing panel; and the left side in black with the moon. In addition to the Italian driver's symbols as war paint, the R46 gains a Termignoni carbon exhaust. All of which adds up to one of the best 600 sports cars on the market. The autograph on the fuel tank will convince you.
it's hard to make progress with a machine that has already reached very high levels and set new standards several years running. However, we had to react to the formidable GSX-R 600 and counter the worrying arrival of the 2005 ZX-6RR. The most important change on the new R6 is its front end. It delivers a real improvement under hard braking - more feel thanks to the new braking unit, phenomenal power and enhanced stability. In a bend, when the brakes are applied, the front of the bike crushes less. In fact, the fork is equipped with firmer springs and a higher front tire, which improves steering response.
Equipped with the original Michelin Pilot Power tires, the Yam is as agile as ever, although the wheelbase has been lengthened by 5 mm (to the benefit of cornering stability). It's also more peppy at higher revs. A subtle rather than blatant increase that doesn't detract from the R6's hollow character on the track, like all 600 sports bikes for that matter. On the road, the mid-range powerband is sufficient, but on the racetrack, it's better to stay in the 3rd third of the rev counter.
With virtually unchanged plastics and greatly optimized track behaviour, the new R6 takes its level of excellence up another notch.

Well, I've fallen for the beauty (or the beast) too!
I reserved it and I'm going to pick it up on Thursday morning, I can't wait to have it in my hands. Although I've already tried a 2005 r6, with the pot it's going to sound great!
