presentation of the YZF 750 R7 OW-02 1999

with the R7, Yamaha has developed a pure racing machine. Intended as a replacement for the YZF 750 SP, this technological jewel is approved for road use, and all you have to do is remove the blinker, mirror and plate, and it's ready to take on the Superbike championship. It's not a Replica, it's simply the Bol d'Or-winning machine you can have in your paddock... sorry, garage. Extremely light, short and slender, the R7 makes extensive use of aluminum, but also titanium, notably for the connecting rods and valves - so the block climbs up the revs at staggering speed. For a pharaonic price, you get a set of irreproachable Öhlins suspensions, a swingarm derived from that of GP 500 machines, and a 4-cylinder racing engine with 2 injectors per cylinder capable of producing up to 160 hp with the racing kit. You may find it slightly lazy at low revs, but that's of little importance: on the track, you only use the top end of the rev counter, where its liveliness and power are demonic. Stability and handling are exemplary - the machine's exclusivity also translates into commendable performance and handling. Built in limited numbers, the R7 represents the pinnacle of the fin-de-siècle sports car.YAMAHA YZF 750 R7 OW02

Although the R7's performance kits are a little expensive, they enable this Superbike to reveal its full potential, for the modest sum of 275,000 F ( ± 41,900€ ).

To answer jéjé, the ow02 of 260 kms red and white no souçis when with the salesman. I bought him a new 500 rdlc carenage. To come back to the R7, I saw it race with yam france at Spa and at the bol in endurance with deletang and foret as well as willis, as did giabanni in the private mulhouse team (lost the name) in 2000. Superb machine, but watch out for the titanium connecting rods, and especially the "brels" that have tracked.
The price is not too exaggerated for this R7, especially in such new condition.
Opinion of a former Team 38 participant in the World Endurance Championship.

Hi, buy one right away at 9900, because I don't think it's going to come down much in price, especially at 27000 for the red version and 33500 for the new bol d'or replica. It's a rather rare bike, so before long it's going to be the other way around, they're going to go back up and exceed their new price, so don't wait too long. I recently saw a red with 260kms, 23500 euros, and another with 15000km, 19500 euros. So buy them lol Rating : 5/5

I have nothing to comment on. I like the bike and I want to own it. Rating : 2/5
French bibiyam Model 2002
I'm waiting patiently for the price of second-hand bikes to drop again, and then I'll buy one, as I've already done with the 750 OW01. But I think I'll wait a few more years. The best second-hand price I've seen was €9900, so it's starting to look affordable... Rating : 5/5
French tophe Model 2002
i own an R7, it's a fantastic machine, it revs up to 15,000 revs with an unforgettable noise, you're sitting right on the chassis, but the best thing is the handling in corners, phenomenal, a rare and beautiful machine, the last production superbike, a beauty. Rating : 5/5

if I ever have the means and want a sports car, it will be this and nothing else Rating : 5/5

I've heard a lot about them, but this is the 1st time I've seen one. Thanks for thinking of us! Rating : 5/5
