presentation of the CBF 600 N 2004
the new CBF 600 will be available in 2 versions: the S, for adventurous touring, and the N, which will be positioned right between the CB 500 and 600 Hornet. With this machine, Honda will be able to reach a very wide audience - especially as anti-pollution standards have caused a number of economical machines to disappear from manufacturers' catalogs. As a result, the CBF 600 will offer more watts than its rookie cousin, the CB 500, without the Hornet 's wild, spirited side, which may repel those who don't share this temperament.
the CBF's friendly looks are based on the Hornet 's engine, but with the engine degloved. The chassis is a mono-backbone design, a similarity found on the Hornet 600 and 900, but also on the new CB 500 and CBF 600 S. In fact, there are a number of common parts between these models - let's hope that this will also be reflected in the wallet. As this is the naked version of the latter, we find the same practical aspects, i.e. adjustable seat and handlebar mounts, and options galore, including ABS, unheard of at this level of the range. Even with less power, the CBF shouldn't be too bad to ride. The transmission has been shortened compared to the Hornet, and the mapping is supposed to favor mid-range revs... and let's not forget that this is the block used on theold 600 CBR - it's a proven performer. Here's a nice roadster, but above all a formidable competitor for the 600 Bandit.

low consumption.
valid 34hp clamping for 2017 a2 licence, I don't know about today's licence Rating : 4/5 Respond to babyboucan
I just bought a cbf 600 2004 27000km.
It's my first bike and I really have no experience with it
I rode it today for the first time and I'm very satisfied. However, I did notice one thing that strikes me as odd. When I'm at a red light, I get the impression that the oil temperature gauge is rising too high, bordering on red
Does anyone know if this is normal?
Thanks for your comments
Rating : 4/5 Respond to Mir
Yes, it's normal for the gauge to go up at a red light, the fan then triggers and it goes down... Then it goes back up
C\'est connu, mais ça ne touche pas la zone rouge ;)
Good bike, my 34hp is great Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation
Sober, comfortable and sturdy, a good compromise for city riding and touring. Rating : 5/5 Respond to droudrou

i have a 2005 hornet and i don't know how to set the time
if someone could help me it would be great
thanks in advance Rating : 4/5 Respond to flo
Turn on the ignition, you need to position yourself on the hour display (right-hand button). Press the 2 black buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
as soon as it flashes, the left button sets the hours and the right button sets the minutes.
As soon as the setting is complete, switch off the ignition, wait a moment and then switch it on again Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation
Inexpensive maintenance ... my mountain bike is more expensive!
Two-up riding possible without disgusting the wife or son. No surprises when downshifting ... well, what more can I say .... if I change it's for the same one with more torque .... for a smoother ride .... a CB 1100 ? ;-) .... I'm tempted. But if you want to start out, come back or enjoy it 100% without the frills ... it's ideal. Thank you Mr. Honda. Rating : 4/5 Respond to 3.14...R

Zero problems, nothing nada, the tires aren't dead (and that's not for lack of fuss) and the chain kit still has many months ahead of it
Many criticize its lack of power and character, but I see the advantages: The engine is linear, perfect for dosing acceleration just right - no surprises, we're in better control. Lack of power? well, it's going to take some time to use the mill to 100% of its capacity
Braking with ABS is imperial and roadholding very good
What's more, the rear seat is very comfortable for a duo
If you want a motorcycle that's easy to handle and inexpensive, go for it
P.S. I met a courier who rode a CBF 600 and he told me that his chain kit had lasted 98,000 km No comment. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Neeeo

My name is Claire. I've had my license since March 2005. I started with a 500GSE, which I kept for 8 months.
I wanted to change my bike, because the GSE regularly broke down because of its advanced age (it was from 1989, I was able to learn a minimum of mechanics thanks to it), and I came across a site of a YAMAHA dealer in Paris (I'm from greboble), who was selling a 600 CBF N
I fell in love with it, I was going up a size, the color suited me, and I didn't make a fuss
i left with it, I had the opportunity to test it on the track, and I don't regret my crush in the least..

I was hesitating between the 600CBFn Biton (too classy this series) and the brand new kawa ER6
Honestly, I bought the kawa because they took my bike back better! And in terms of performance, there's no photo, for 500€ less than the honda the kawa pulls much better, I hope in the long run I won't have any regrets! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Nemrod34
The colors are not great!
But I found JUMP MOTO HONDA which offers the
cbf600 in great colors with accessories and more at a very interesting price
see you soon. Rating : 5/5 Respond to pepito
I've had a CBF 600 N for a few months now and I don't regret my choice. It's a versatile, economical, torquey bike (for a 600) at low and medium revs, i.e. for everyday use. After 7,000 revs, the mill doesn't sound like a robot mixer! (even if the kick in the ... of the 600 Hornet is gone (too bad!!!). For an entry-level bike, it's a bargain. For those who want more thrills, go for a speed triple (I rode one for 6 months) or even a sportbike, but then the costs go up. But if, like me, you ride every day (on the sunny roads of Reunion Island) and don't want to break the bank while still enjoying yourself, this is the right choice. However, there are 2 drawbacks: - a seat that's not "top" and a really hard shock absorber (a fault of all 600 roadsters anyway) Rating : 5/5 Respond to Shoto
I just bought the naked version
It's a very good bike, because of its versatility. I use it every day (even in the snow at the moment), and there's no doubt that it's a Honda. Smooth enough in town, it's still got a good mill for out-of-town fun. In my opinion, the original tires are a bit tight on wet roads, but the bike's handling is very reassuring. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of suspension adjustment, because with my bird's weight, the whole thing is pretty firm (especially up front). Ciao, friends, and keep your speed up, but to the right! Rating : 5/5 Respond to seb06
